Thomas Milic G | WPG
Jets' Thomas Milic: Allows two in relief effort
Milic turned aside 15 of 17 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to Buffalo.
Milic entered the contest at the start of the second period in relief of Eric Comrie. The 22-year-old Milic is now 0-1-0 with a 3.64 GAA and an .882 save percentage through his first two NHL appearances. While he's yet to find the win column, Monday's outing was a step forward in the long road to becoming a consistent NHL netminder. With Connor Hellebuyck predicted to be sidelined until January due to a knee injury, Milic should have more opportunities to play moving forward. His next chance to take the ice is Wednesday in Montreal.

Jonathan Quick G | NYR
Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Not ready to return yet
Quick isn't quite ready to return to the lineup yet, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
Quick hasn't played since Nov. 22 in Utah. Igor Shesterkin will get the home start Tuesday versus Dallas, while Spencer Martin will back him up. Quick is 3-3-0 with a 1.69 GAA and a .944 save percentage across six appearances this season.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Leaves ice first
Sorokin was the first goalie to exit the ice Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports, indicating that he'll tend the twine at home versus Tampa.
Sorokin is mired in a three-game losing streak despite posting a 2.47 GAA and an .868 save percentage along the way. While the netminder is sporting a GAA better than his last two campaigns, he has struggled to pick up wins, recording just seven victories in 17 outings.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Cruises to third straight win
Jarry turned aside 28 shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Flyers.
Philly did tie the game at 1-1 on a Tyson Foerster power-play tally early in the second period, but Jarry shut the door from there. The veteran netminder has won three straight starts since returning from a lower-body injury that cost him most of November, seizing the No. 1 job in the Pittsburgh crease back from Arturs Silovs by posting a 2.51 GAA and a .912 save percentage since rejoining the roster.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Pulled after first period
Comrie stopped 11 of 14 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Sabres.
Comrie allowed three goals inside the first 15 minutes of regulation before the Jets subbed in Thomas Milic for the rest of the contest. With the loss, Comrie now has a 5-5-0 record with a 3.12 GAA and an .893 save percentage through 10 games this season. Since the reigning winner of the Hart and Vezina trophies, Connor Hellebuyck, went down due to a knee injury, Comrie has a 1-4-0 record with a 3.74 GAA and an .877 save percentage across five starts. While he's seeing the busiest workload of his career because of Hellebuyck's absence, Comrie is an inconsistent spot start in fantasy until the Jets get back on track as a team. Comrie's next chance to start is Wednesday in Montreal.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Set to start Tuesday
Shesterkin is slated to be between the pipes at home versus the Stars on Tuesday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Shesterkin will make his fifth straight appearance in the crease, having gone 3-1-0 with a 2.27 GAA and a .921 save percentage in his prior four outings. It was a strong November for the 29-year-old Russian, having gone 7-5-0 with a .907 save percentage in 12 appearances during the month.

Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Downed by Jackets
Allen stopped 19 shots in Monday's 5-3 loss to Columbus.
The Devils gave the veteran netminder a 2-0 lead early in the first period, but Allen saw it slip away over the rest of the night. He's now lost three of his last four starts, although the one win was a shutout of the Sabres last Friday, and on the season, Allen is 8-5-0 through 14 outings with a 2.48 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

Laurent Brossoit G | SJ
Blackhawks' Laurent Brossoit: Taken off non-roster injured reserve
Brossoit (hip) was activated off non-roster injured reserve and sent down to AHL Rockford on a conditioning assignment Tuesday.
Brossoit likely will get into a game against AHL Colorado on Friday or Saturday and could spend up to two weeks with the minor-league club. This is a step in the right direction for the backstop, who hasn't appeared in a game since a playoff appearance April 28, 2024, versus the Avalanche.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Back in win column Monday
Merzlikins made 30 saves in Monday's 5-3 win over the Devils.
The 31-year-old netminder went the entire month of November without collecting a win, going 0-4-0 in four starts with a rough 4.30 GAA and an .863 save percentage, and Merzlikins appeared to be headed for another poor outing when New Jersey struck twice in the first 3:03 of the first period. He kept his focus, however, and Merzlikins locked things down as Columbus rallied, allowing only a power-play tally to Timo Meier midway through the third for the remainder of the game. On the season, Merzlikins is 5-5-0 in 10 starts with a 3.50 GAA and an .895 save percentage as the No. 2 option for the Jackets behind Jet Greaves.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Strong effort in win
Luukkonen stopped 23 of 24 shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Outside of the Jets' lone goal from Kyle Connor midway through the second period, Luukkonen excelled in goal to pick up his third win in four tries. With his effort Monday, the 26-year-old netminder is up to a 4-3-1 record with a 2.51 GAA and an .899 save percentage through eight games this season. He has room to improve his save percentage, but performances like Monday's proved that he can keep the Sabres competitive defensively. With Buffalo currently just three points out of a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, the Sabres should vie for enough wins this season to keep Luukkonen as a solid streaming option in most fantasy formats. His next chance to take the ice is Wednesday in Philadelphia.
