Grubauer was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports, and is in line to get the start at home versus Winnipeg on Thursday.
Grubauer will make only his second start in the Kraken's last 11 games. He is 1-0-1 across three appearances this season, allowing six goals on 48 shots. Grubauer will face the Jets, who are generating 3.25 goals per game, 13th in the NHL.

Wedgewood inked a one-year, $2.5 million contract extension with the Avalanche on Thursday.
Wedgewood has been outstanding this season, posting a 10-1-2 record with a 2.26 GAA and a .913 save percentage across 14 appearances. He leads the NHL in wins, is fifth in goals-against average and is 10th overall in save percentage. While Mackenzie Blackwood is expected to eventually regain his spot at Colorado's top netminder, Wedgewood has been everything and more at this time for the Avs.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: First off ice Thursday
Kuemper was the first netminder off the ice after morning skate, Mark Masters of TSN reports, and is slated to defend the visiting goal in Toronto on Thursday.
Kuemper has won his last three starts, allowing three goals on 78 shots. He is 6-3-3 with a 2.40 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 12 appearances this season. Kuemper will face the Maple Leafs, who are fourth in NHL scoring, generating 3.65 goals per game.

Wolf is having the proverbial sophomore slump, as he is 4-10-1 with a 3.25 GAA and an .893 save percentage across 15 starts this season. The Sharks have won four games in a row and are currently in fifth place in the Pacific Division, one point behind second place Los Angeles.

Capitals' Logan Thompson: Starting in Florida
Thompson will tend the visiting twine in Florida on Thursday, according to Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.
Thompson finally allowed more than two goals when the Lightning scored three times in a 3-2 win Saturday. Thompson has been outstanding this season, posting a 7-4-0 record with a 1.56 GAA and a .935 save percentage. The Panthers have struggled this season after winning back-to-back Stanley Cups. They have 42 goals in 16 games, 28th in the NHL.

The Sharks placed Nedeljkovic (personal) on non-roster injured reserve Thursday, according to Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.
Nedeljkovic was slated to start Tuesday, but was replaced by Yaroslav Askarov when a personal problem came up. Nedeljkovic is 3-2-2 with a 2,96 GAA and a ,906 save percentage over seven appearances this season. The Sharks recalled Jakub Skarek from AHL San Jose in a corresponding move.

Skarek will back up Yaroslav Askarov, as Alex Nedeljkovic was placed on non-roster injured reserve due to a personal matter. Skarek was 4-2-0 with a 3.63 GAA and an .875 save percentage across six AHL appearances before his recall.
