  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Tending twine Saturday

Stolarz will protect the home goal versus Boston on Saturday, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.

Stolarz has won his last four starts, boosting his record to 6-4-1 with a 3.11 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 11 starts this season. He will face the Bruins, who are 15th in NHL scoring, averaging 3.19 goals per game.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Tending twine Saturday

Montembeault will start Saturday's home game against Utah, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Montembeault is coming off a 38-save effort in a 5-4 shootout loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday. He has a 3-3-1 record this season while allowing 26 goals on 179 shots. Utah ranks ninth in the league with 3.36 goals per game this campaign.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: First off ice Saturday

Vasilevskiy was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports, which indicates that he will tend the home twine versus Washington on Saturday.

After a couple of rough starts to begin the season, allowing nine goals on 64 shots, Vasilevskiy has settled down. He is 4-4-2 with a 2.70 GAA and a .901 save percentage across 10 starts this year. The Capitals were second in NHL scoring in 2024-25, averaging 3.49 goals per game, but have slipped to 21st this season, generating 2.86 goals per contest.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Subpar showing Friday

Rittich stopped 21 of 26 shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.

Rittich has started in three of the Islanders' last five games, but his numbers haven't been encouraging. He's gone 1-2-0 with a 4.34 GAA and an .841 save percentage over that span. It's hard to trust Rittich to perform well in any fantasy format. He's gone 3-2-0 with a 3.41 GAA and an .886 save percentage through five appearances this season.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Facing Senators

Ersson will patrol the home crease versus Ottawa on Saturday.

Ersson came off injured reserve for Thursday's game against Nashville after missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. He backed up Dan Vladar on Thursday and will make his first start since Oct 28, when he turned aside 24 shots in a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh. The Senators are generating 3.43 goals per game this season, good for eighth in the NHL.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Starting Saturday

Silovs will defend the visiting cage in New Jersey on Saturday, per Josh Yohe of The Athletic.

Silovs has taken over as the Penguins' No. 1 goaltender with Tristan Jarry (lower body) on the shelf. Silovs is 4-2-2 with one shutout, a 2.70 GAA and a .912 save percentage across eight starts this season. The Devils are averaging 3.57 goals per game, tied for sixth in the NHL.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Earns second win of season

Wallstedt stopped 25 of 27 shots in Friday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Wallstedt has made only four appearances this season, and he hasn't lost a game in regulation so far. He has gone 2-0-2, but his 3.11 GAA and .879 save percentage could use some improvement. Wallstedt hasn't been seeing much playing time in the early going behind Filip Gustavsson.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Continues excellent play

Quick stopped 32 of 33 shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Quick has won his last three starts and has also allowed one goal or fewer in three of four appearances. He owns an excellent .950 save percentage in his four appearances. Quick can be utilized in spot starts or as a matchup-based alternative, but he won't see much action this season behind Igor Shesterkin.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Allows four goals Friday

Talbot stopped 22 of 26 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.

Talbot's brief two-game winning streak came to an end. He has been sharing the crease with John Gibson this season, and if that trend continues, Gibson could start Sunday's home game against the Blackhawks. Talbot is 5-2-0 with a 2.92 GAA and an .891 save percentage in eight outings this season.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Facing Islanders

Shesterkin will be between the home pipes versus the Islanders on Saturday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Despite a 4-5-2 record, Shesterkin has played great this season, as evidenced by his 2.26 GAA and .915 save percentage. Shesterkin was a perfect 4-0-0 against the Islanders last season, allowing only five goals on 141 shots. The Islanders are generating 3.21 goals per game this season, 13th in the NHL.
