  • Devils' Nico Daws: Earns first shutout of AHL season

Daws posted a 19-save shutout in AHL Utica's 3-0 win over Belleville on Friday.

Daws has gone 2-2-0 with a 1.51 GAA and a .942 save percentage over four games with Utica. He also won his lone NHL appearance while with the Devils during the absence of Jacob Markstrom, who battled a lower-body injury in October. Daws is brimming with potential should he get another extended look in the NHL at some point despite bumpy numbers over the last two AHL campaigns.

  • Bruins' Michael DiPietro: Remains undefeated in AHL this year

DiPietro stopped 42 of 43 shots in AHL Providence's 2-1 win over Cleveland on Friday.

DiPietro has been superb for Providence so far, going 6-0-0 with a 2.17 GAA and a .929 save percentage in six starts. The 26-year-old is doing everything he can to force the Bruins' hands for a call-up, but there's no room for him in the NHL when both Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo are healthy and playing well. At this point, DiPietro could be a trade chip for Boston to dangle in front of a team looking to upgrade its goaltending depth.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Yields two goals in loss

Hellebuyck stopped 25 of 27 shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Sharks.

Hellebuyck did his part to keep things close, but the Jets weren't at their best and delivered a lackluster showing on offense. He's allowed four goals on 52 shots while losing the first two games of this road trip, but the Jets have scored just once in those contests. For the year, Hellebuyck is at a 6-5-0 record with a 2.30 GAA and a .922 save percentage over 11 starts. The Jets have an even tougher task ahead when they visit the NHL's leading offense, the Ducks, on Sunday.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Excellent in win over Jets

Nedeljkovic stopped 32 of 33 shots in Friday's 2-1 win over the Jets.

Nedeljkovic is 2-0-1 with just five goals allowed on 96 shots over his last three games. The 29-year-old goalie limited the damage to a Josh Morrissey tally in the first period, which the Sharks answered just 1:12 later. Nedeljkovic is now 3-2-2 on the year with a 2.96 GAA and a .906 save percentage across seven outings. Should the Sharks continue to alternate goalies, Yaroslav Askarov would get a home matchup Saturday versus the Panthers while Nedeljkovic is lined up for a road game against the Wild on Tuesday.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Claims first shutout of season

Knight posted a 33-save shutout in Friday's 4-0 win over the Flames.

Knight cooled off the Flames' recent success on offense and delivered a strong performance for his first shutout in a Blackhawks sweater. It was the sixth shutout of Knight's career, and he's allowed two or fewer goals in six of his 11 outings this season. He improved to 6-3-2 with a 2.33 GAA and a .926 save percentage. Knight and the Blackhawks have both taken a step forward this year, and he should continue to be a reliable fantasy netminder as long as the team in front of him does its job. The Blackhawks close out their road trip Sunday in Detroit.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: On wrong side of shutout

Wolf stopped 23 of 27 shots in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Blackhawks.

Wolf couldn't quiet the Blackhawks' top line, and the Flames didn't offer him any support in this contest. It's a step back after Wolf had allowed just five goals on 72 shots over his first three outings in November. For the season, the 24-year-old netminder is now at a 4-9-1 record with a 3.26 GAA and an .892 save percentage through a league-high 14 starts. The Flames have a couple of fairly favorable matchups coming up, as they visit the Wild on Sunday and the Blues on Tuesday, though it's not yet clear if Wolf will start both of those games.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Between pipes Friday

Hellebuyck will guard the road goal in Friday's game versus the Sharks, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Hellebuyck took a hard-luck loss versus the Kings in his last time out, a game in which the Jets lost 3-0. He stopped 23 of 25 shots. The Sharks have scored 25 goals over their last six games, winning four of them. That makes this a bit of a challenging matchup for Hellebuyck, who will need more support from his teammates to get back in the win column.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Tending twine in Calgary

Knight will guard the road goal versus the Flames on Friday, Ryan Pike of Flames Nation reports.

Knight was excellent in his last outing, stopping 43 of 45 shots in a win over the Canucks on Wednesday. The Flames have improved after a slow start, going 3-2-1 with 20 goals scored over their last six games.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Expected starter for Saturday

Skinner is set to start at home against Colorado on Saturday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV on Friday.

Skinner has a 4-3-3 record, 2.54 GAA and .899 save percentage in 10 appearances this season. He's allowed at least three goals in four of his past five outings. Skinner faced the Avalanche three times during the 2024-25 regular season, posting a 2-0-0 record, 3.00 GAA and .892 save percentage across those games.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: In doubt for back-to-back

Demko is questionable to play during the Canucks' upcoming back-to-back against Columbus and Colorado on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.

Demko's potential absence was deemed preventative maintenance, given the 2025-26 schedule. Still, it will be a concern for fantasy managers and Canucks' fans alike, especially considering the netminder's recent injury woes. With Demko's availability in doubt, the team recalled Jiri Patera from the minors.
