  • Maple Leafs' Cayden Primeau: Placed on waivers

Primeau was placed on waivers Friday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.

Primeau's status was determined when Joseph Woll (personal) returned to Toronto after missing five weeks of action. While Primeau could be sent to AHL Toronto if he passes through waivers, the Maple Leafs will likely recall Dennis Hildeby to back up Anthony Stolarz while Woll is on a conditioning stint with the Marlies.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Slated to start Friday

Nedeljkovic was the first goaltender off the ice at morning practice, Max Miller of NHL.com reports, and will defend the home goal versus Winnipeg on Friday.

Nedeljkovic is 2-0-1 in his last three starts, giving him a 2-2-2 record with a 3.29 GAA and an .895 save percentage across six starts. He will face the Jets, who are averaging 3.46 goals per game, eighth in the NHL.

  • Jiri Patera G | VAN

Canucks' Jiri Patera: Called up from AHL

Patera was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Friday, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports.

There is no word at this time as to whether Thatcher Demko or Kevin Lankinen are injured. Patera has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.10 GAA and an .894 save percentage in five AHL appearances this season. Patera has played eight NHL games across a pair of seasons with Vegas, posting a 3-3-1 record.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Tending twine Friday

Wolf will be between the home pipes versus Chicago on Friday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Wolf was outstanding Wednesday, turning aside 42 shots in a 5-1 win over Columbus. The win was Wolf's second in a row, boosting his record to 4-8-1 with a 3.19 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 13 starts. The Blackhawks are averaging 3.14 goals per game, 15th in the NHL.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Headed to AHL Toronto

Woll (personal) will be sent to AHL Toronto for a conditioning stint, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports Friday.

Woll has yet to see any game action, as he took a leave of absence early in training camp. The 27-year-old netminder was outstanding last season with the Maple Leafs, posting a 27-14-1 record with a 2.73 GAA and a .909 save percentage across 42 regular-season games. He should return within two weeks and will share the crease with Anthony Stolarz upon his return.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Slated to start Friday

Quick is expected to guard the visiting crease in Detroit on Friday, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.

Quick has had only three starts this season and is coming off his best effort, shutting out the Canucks on Oct. 28. He is 2-1-0, stopping 64 of 68 shots in 2025-26. The Red Wings are 9-5-0, but they are managing only 3.00 goals per game.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Headed for minors

Kolosov is expected to be sent down to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.

Kolosov finds himself as the odd man out now that Samuel Ersson has returned from a lower-body injury. In his two appearances for the Flyers this year, the 23-year-old Kolosov has gone 0-1-0 despite a solid 1.62 GAA and .929 save percentage. If he can keep playing at that level in the minors, Kolosov could force the Flyers to bring him back up at some point. For now, it will be Dan Vladar and Ersson splitting the workload in Philadelphia.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Facing Rangers

Talbot will patrol the home crease versus the Rangers on Friday, per Max Bultman of The Athletic.

Talbot is 5-1-0 with a 2.76 GAA and an .897 save percentage over seven appearances this season. He has been perfect at home, posting a 2-0-0 record, allowing four goals on 48 shots. He has outplayed fellow veteran John Gibson in the early going. The Rangers are last in NHL scoring, generating only 2.21 goals per game.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Falls to Penguins

Lindgren allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Penguins on Thursday.

Lindgren has now lost four straight games, posting a 0-3-1 record and 4.49 GAA during his slump. The Minnesota native was already expected to see less of the net this season than he did in 2024-25 (39 games), but this slump will only serve to further cement Logan Thompson as the No. 1 option in Washington.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Holds on for win

Silovs faced 30 shots, stopping 27, in a 5-3 win over the Capitals on Thursday.

Silovs and the Penguins were up 3-0 in the second period when the wheels started to fall off. Washington evened the score 3-3, but Silovs did enough in the third period to hang on for the win. With the victory, the 24-year-old backstop brought his three-game losing streak to a close. It figures to be a heavy dose of Silovs in the crease for Pittsburgh over the next three weeks while Tristan Jarry (lower body) is sidelined. A back-to-back versus the Devils and Kings on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, will see Silovs split the workload with Sergei Murashov.
