  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Can't recover from early flurry

Silovs made 24 saves in a 6-2 loss to Colorado on Tuesday. He allowed five goals.

Silovs never recovered from a first-period flurry where he allowed three goals in a 1:55 span. But then again, his teammates are really struggling to score lately -- they have been outscored 11-3 in two straight losses. Silovs has been alternating starts with Stuart Skinner, and he's 2-1-0 in his last three and 5-3-0 in eight games since the Olympic break. Skinner is 1-2-4 in the same span, so the Pens could send Silovs out there a bit more often to keep a playoff spot. They are now third in the Metropolitan Division, just one point ahead of the Islanders in fourth.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Back in win column

Wedgewood made 30 saves in a 6-2 win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The Avs were sloppy in front of him, but Wedgewood held them in the game until they caught fire. He's back in the win column after going 0-1-1 in his previous two outings. Since the Olympic break, Wedgewood is 6-1-1 in eight starts with a sparkling .935 save percentage.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Gets back in win column

Jarry stopped 16 of 18 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Mammoth.

Jarry didn't face a lot of traffic in this outing, his first since he allowed seven goals to the Stars on March 12. The 30-year-old was able to get by with a flurry of goals that put the Oilers ahead for good in the second period. Jarry is up to 18-9-2 with a 3.34 GAA and an .883 save percentage over 30 appearances this season. While he got the win, it wasn't the type of performance that sets him up well to challenge Connor Ingram for the starting job. The Oilers' next game is Thursday in Vegas.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Takes loss in playoff-like game

Gustavsson made 19 saves in a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Tuesday. He allowed four goals.

The game was a deadlock until there was just 2:53 left in the third -- the teams were playing playoff hockey. Gustavsson is 26-12-6 with four shutouts, 2.51 GAA and .911 save percentage this season. Since mid-January, he is 12-3-1 with a .909 save percentage in 16 appearances. Gustavsson is the top dog in the Wild net right now. Jesper Wallstedt has tremendous promise, but he's 2-5-2 with an .890 save percentage in eight outings in the same span.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Falls in shootout

Kuemper stopped 21 of 23 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Flames.

Kuemper wasn't able to protect a pair of one-goal leads. He then faltered in the shootout, allowing goals to two of the four Calgary shooters to cost the Kings a point in the standings from what was a winnable matchup. He's taken three straight losses past regulation time, giving up nine goals on 77 shots in that span. For the season, Kuemper has a 17-13-13 record with a 2.66 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 45 starts. The Kings' next game is another favorable one as they visit the Canucks on Thursday.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Secures shootout win

Wolf stopped 23 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.

Wolf has won his last two outings, stopping 47 of 50 shots in those games. The 24-year-old was having a rough March before that, but a return to alternating games with Devin Cooley has given Wolf enough of a refresh to get on track. For the season, Wolf is up to 21-25-3 with a 2.95 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 51 appearances. He is likely to surpass the 53 games played he had last year. The Flames host the Ducks on Thursday.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Falls short against Jets

Hill allowed three goals on 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Jets. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Hill once again faced a fairly light workload, but he wasn't able to take advantage of it. He has started eight of the Golden Knights' last nine games, going 3-5-0 with 16 goals allowed on 143 shots (.888 save percentage) in that span. That's still better than his overall work this season -- he's at a 9-9-3 record with a 3.03 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 23 starts. The Golden Knights' next game is a pivotal one for playoff positioning, as they host the Oilers on Thursday.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Wins over Vegas

Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.

Hellebuyck had gone 0-1-2 with 13 goals allowed over his previous three outings. He locked in for a good performance in this one, allowing just a Colton Sissons power-play tally in the second period. Hellebuyck's record has taken a hit with the Jets' overall struggles this year, as he's now at 18-19-11 through 48 starts. He's added a 2.81 GAA and an .898 save percentage, but he remains firmly in the starting role for a team still on the fringe of the playoff race. He may be a goalie to avoid for the rest of the week in fantasy since the Jets' next two games are against the Avalanche.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Excellence unmatched right now

Vasilevskiy made 20 saves in a 6-3 win over the Wild on Tuesday. He also picked up a rare goalie assist.

The Wild went up 2-0 with two power-play goals in the first period, and then 3-1 by the mid-point of the second. However, Vasilevskiy bricked up the net, and his teammates responded with five straight goals. This was a tight, playoff-style match -- the go-ahead goal came with 2:53 remaining, and the Bolts snagged two empty-net goals. Vasilevskiy's excellence is unmatched right now. He has won four straight games and is 34-12-3 with two shutouts, a 2.30 GAA and .914 save percentage in 49 starts this season. His 34 wins lead the NHL, his GAA is second and his save percentage is fourth in the league.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Can't hold off Leafs on busy night

Swayman made 31 saves Tuesday in a 4-2 loss to Toronto. He allowed three goals.

The ice was tilted toward Swayman, who faced 34 shots to Anthony Stolarz's 20. Special teams were the downfall Tuesday. Swayman allowed shorthanded and power-play goals in the second period, and an even-strength goal from a bad angle in the third, just seven seconds after killing off a five-minute major to Nikita Zadorov. It was Swayman's first regulation loss since March 12 (3-1-1); he's 6-2-1 in nine starts in March.
