  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Picks up win over Toronto

Tarasov stopped 17 of 19 shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

In a battle between two teams seemingly racing to the bottom, Tarasov was able to prevail for his first win in four outings in April. The 27-year-old netminder has started three of the Panthers' last four games, likely in an effort to get him some experience. Through 31 appearances this season, Tarasov is 11-15-3 with a 3.16 GAA and an .892 save percentage. Both Tarasov and Sergei Bobrovsky are set for unrestricted free agency this summer, leaving both netminders' futures with Florida in question. The Panthers have two home games against non-playoff teams left on the schedule, with the Rangers coming to town Monday followed by the Red Wings on Wednesday.

  • Ty Young G | VAN

Canucks' Ty Young: Picks up AHL shutout

Young recorded a 24-save shutout in AHL Abbotsford's 4-0 win over Calgary on Saturday.

Young has earned two shutouts in his last seven outings. He's won five of his last eight games as well, improving to 5-10-1 with a 3.45 GAA and an .880 save percentage over 16 outings this season. Young will likely cede the crease to Jiri Patera to close out the campaign.

  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Loses to Kraken

Cooley stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Kraken. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Cooley's been a strong backup for much of the season, but he's started to falter. He's allowed at least three goals in six straight outings, going 2-1-2 in that span. For the season, he's down to 10-10-6 with a 2.69 GAA and a .909 save percentage over 31 appearances. Dustin Wolf will likely get the nod Sunday versus the Mammoth to kick off the Flames' final homestand of the season.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Surrenders five goals in loss

Soderblom stopped 23 of 28 shots on goal in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blues.

Soderblom surrendered three goals in the second period, as the Blues built a 4-2 lead. With the loss, he now has an 8-13-3 record, a 3.80 GAA and an .880 save percentage across 26 outings this season. The 26-year-old netminder has appeared in three of Chicago's last five games. He'll likely draw one or two more starts to give Spencer Knight some much-needed rest, making Soderblom a viable fantasy option in category leagues that track saves. However, he'll be a risky start if he rolls out against the Sabres on Monday.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Yields three tallies in win

Hofer turned aside 31 of 34 shots on net in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.

Hofer posted a steady performance in Saturday's win, allowing just one goal in each of the three periods. With the victory, he is up to a 22-13-5 record, a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 44 appearances this season. Since the Olympic break, Hofer has lost in regulation only twice, posting a 10-2-2 record, a 1.90 GAA and a .936 save percentage across 14 games. With the Blues eliminated from playoff contention, the 25-year-old netminder should receive at least one more chance to place a bow on his strong season. Unless Hofer runs into trouble or is injured next season, he'll likely serve as the Blues' starting netminder for the foreseeable future.

  • Niklas Kokko G | SEA

Kraken's Niklas Kokko: Picks up first NHL win

Kokko stopped 26 of 27 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Flames.

This was Kokko's second NHL appearance and his first start, and he took care of business in a soft matchup. The 22-year-old is getting an unexpected look late in the season since the Kraken are without Joey Daccord (lower body), Philipp Grubauer (lower body) and Matt Murray (personal). The Kraken have three games left on the schedule, coming over a four-day span, so Kokko should be penciled in for at least one more appearance if Daccord and Grubauer remain out. Kokko would likely get two games if Murray is also away from the team for the last week of the season. Next up is the home finale versus the Kings on Monday.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Three-game win streak snapped

Wallstedt made 20 saves in a 2-1 loss to Nashville on Saturday.

Wallstedt was sharp behind a team with Joel Eriksson Ek, Mats Zuccarello and Jared Spurgeon all scratched for rest-related reasons to get ready for the postseason. The loss snapped a personal three-game winning streak for the netminder. Wallstedt hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game since mid-March (3-2-0; five starts). Overall, he's an impressive 17-9-6 with four shutouts, 2.63 GAA and .915 save percentage.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Second straight sharp performance

Annunen made 21 saves in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Wild.

Annunen took a shutout into the third when former teammate, Michael McCarron, who was traded to the Wild on March 3, beat him at 6:54. The netminder has been sharp lately, stopping 64 of 65 shots over his last two starts. With this performance, Annunen improved his stat line this season to 10-11-3 with a 2.70 GAA, .907 save percentage and one shutout.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Losing end of goaltending duel

Ingram made 19 saves Saturday in a 1-0 loss to the Kings.

The game had a distinct playoff feel, and Ingram played really well. The only King to best him was Artemi Panarin, who beat him glove side on a breakaway after stealing the puck from Evan Bouchard in the Kings' zone. Ingram is 1-2-0 in his last three games, and the Oilers are 1-2-1 in their last four, but they managed to secure a playoff spot later Saturday when the Flyers beat the Jets. We're not sure how the Oilers will deploy Ingram in the final two games. Will they play him to ensure he maintains a rhythm heading into the playoffs? Or will they sit Ingram, as wins would secure a first-round matchup against wild-card Utah, which has a plus-31 goal differential? These questions make year-end fantasy decisions so difficult.

  • Red Wings' Michal Postava: Reassigned to AHL

Postava was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Saturday.

Postava was elevated from Grand Rapids on Friday as insurance for John Gibson (neck), but Gibson was fine to play Saturday versus the Devils. Postava will likely close out the season with the Griffins, who have been one of the best teams in the AHL all season. He'll compete with Sebastian Cossa for playing time in the AHL.
