Forsberg is 4-0-0 with a GAA of 0.97 and a .963 save percentage in his past four starts, and he has the Kings one point ahead of the Predators for the second wild card in the Western Conference. Expect the Kings to keep Forsberg in their blue paint as much as reasonably possible based on this recent success. The team has three games left.

  • Jiri Patera G | VAN

Canucks' Jiri Patera: Sent back down

Patera was returned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.

Kevin Lankinen will return from an upper-body injury, ending Patera's emergency recall. The 27-year-old Patera will likely spend the rest of the campaign with Abbotsford. He didn't play during his week-long stint with the big club.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Bounces back despite loss

Swayman made 22 saves Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Lightning.

Swayman and Tampa Bay's Andrei Vasilevskiy were locked in a duel, but the Boston netminder allowed the winning goal with only 1:35 left in the third period. It was a nice rebound effort for Swayman, who was pulled at 8:33 of the second period in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to Carolina after he allowed five goals on 23 shots. With the Bruins securing a playoff spot despite the defeat, Joonas Korpisalo will likely start Sunday's home game against New Jersey.

Vasilevskiy made 19 saves Saturday in a 2-1 win over Boston.

This game was as tight as a playoff contest. Vasilevskiy and Boston's Jeremy Swayman were both superb in the contest. The Tampa Bay netminder got back in the win column after two losses, moving back into sole possession of the NHL lead for wins (38). Vasilevskiy is 38-15-4 with two shutouts, a 2.30 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 57 appearances this season.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: In goal Saturday

Hart will guard the road goal versus the Avalanche on Saturday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Hart has been on a three-game winning streak since returning from a lower-body injury. The 27-year-old will face his toughest test yet, especially with the Avalanche not expected to make significant changes to their lineup despite already securing the Presidents' Trophy. Colorado has gone 3-1-0 while scoring 10 goals over its last four games.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Starting Saturday

The Jets rank 24th in goals per game with 2.85 this season.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Expected to guard home goal

Annunen is slated to start at home against Minnesota on Saturday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

Annunen earned a 43-save shutout victory over Anaheim on Tuesday. He's 9-11-2 with a 2.78 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 26 appearances this season. The Wild rank 11th in goals per game with 3.30 this season, but they're scratching top-six forwards Joel Eriksson Ek (rest) and Mats Zuccarello (rest) to keep them fresh for the playoffs.
