  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Set to start in Dallas

Demko will protect the road goal versus the Stars on Thursday, per Canucks Insider.

Demko is set to make his third start in the first four games of the season. The 29-year-old has been sharp so far, allowing just three goals on 54 shots while going 1-1-0. Demko will have a tough task ahead, as the Stars have racked up 14 goals in three games.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Expected to face Philadelphia

Hellebuyck is set to guard the road goal in Thursday's clash against Philadelphia, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Hellebuyck opened the season by allowing five goals on 37 shots in a 5-4 loss to Dallas on Oct. 9, but he rebounded with a 30-save, 3-2 victory over LA on Saturday. There's a strong case to be made that he's the league's best goaltender after winning the Vezina Trophy following the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns, so it's easy to shrug off his season-opening loss and expect great things from Hellebuyck this season.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting in Toronto

Shesterkin will protect the road goal versus the Maple Leafs on Thursday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Shesterkin is 2-2-0 with just three goals allowed on 106 shots to begin the season. That speaks to some bad luck -- both losses have come with the Rangers getting shut out at home. The 29-year-old has won both of his road games and will look to stay hot against the Maple Leafs, who have 17 goals through four contests.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Starting again Thursday

Skinner will guard the road goal versus the Islanders on Thursday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Skinner shut out the Rangers on Tuesday, so it's not a surprise he'll be rewarded with a second straight start. Calvin Pickard is also in the mix, but if Skinner gets on a good run of play, he'll likely continue to handle a starting role. The Islanders have struggled a bit early on, scoring just seven goals over their first three games.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Expected to start Thursday

Tarasov is set to start on the road against New Jersey on Thursday.

Tarasov is giving Sergei Bobrovsky a breather after Bobrovsky started in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Detroit. The 26-year-old Tarasov is appearing in his second game of the season after stopping 17 of 20 shots en route to a 5-2 loss to Philadelphia on Monday. He had a 7-10-2 record, 3.55 GAA and .880 save percentage in 20 appearances with Columbus during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Not expected to suit up Thursday

Kuemper (lower body) isn't expected to dress for Thursday's home game against Pittsburgh, NHL.com reports.

Kuemper missed Wednesday's practice session due to a lower-body injury, and he's considered day-to-day. Anton Forsberg will serve as the Kings' starting netminder Thursday while Pheonix Copley operates as the backup, signaling that Kuemper will be unavailable for at least one game. Whether he'll be able to return Saturday against the Hurricanes remains to be seen.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Expected to face Pittsburgh

Forsberg is slated to start at home against Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Forsberg is making his second start of the season after allowing five goals on 35 shots en route to a 6-5 shootout win over Vegas on Oct. 8. Darcy Kuemper is dealing with a lower-body injury, so Pheonix Copley will serve as Forsberg's understudy. Pittsburgh is 2-2-0 and tied for 23rd in goals per game with 2.75 this year.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Available Thursday

Hill (lower body) is feeling fine and will serve as the backup goaltender for Thursday's home game against Boston, per SinBin.vegas.

Akira Schmid will start as scheduled, but it seems Hill was also an option to get the nod. Hill will probably start at home against Calgary on Saturday. The 29-year-old Hill has a record of 0-0-2 with a 3.60 GAA and an .845 save percentage in three appearances this year.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Starting in Vegas

Swayman will serve as the starting netminder on the road against Vegas on Thursday, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports.

Swayman has alternated starts with Joonas Korpisalo over the first week of the regular season, and that pattern will continue Thursday as Swayman tends the twine for the third time in the Bruins' first five games. Swayman has been strong early in the year, going 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .966 save percentage.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Not starting Thursday

Hill (lower body) will not start Thursday at home versus Boston, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Hill left Tuesday's game versus Calgary with the injury and while he practiced at morning skate Thursday, there is no word as to whether or not he will be healthy enough to back up Akira Schmid. The Golden Knights haven't yet recalled another goaltender ahead of the game against Boston.
