Vitek Vanecek G | UTA
Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Leaves ice first
Vanecek was the first goalie off the ice Monday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating he'll get the road start against Chicago.
Vanecek will make his season debut after watching Karel Vejmelka play in the first two games of the year. In 25 regular-season games played between the Sharks and Panthers last year, the 29-year-old Vanecek went 5-14-4 with an .884 save percentage and 3.62 GAA. Now with Utah, Vancek should see a similar workload this year as the No. 2 option behind Vejmelka.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting in Philadelphia
Tarasov will guard the road goal against the Flyers on Monday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Tarasov will make his Florida debut after being acquired from Columbus in the offseason. As a member of the Blue Jackets in the 2024-25 regular season, he provided a 7-10-2 record with one shutout, a 3.55 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 20 appearances. However, his numbers could get a boost behind the stingy Florida defense.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Patrolling blue paint versus Sens
Saros will be between the pipes for Monday's road game versus Ottawa, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Saros has put together a decent start to the 2025-26 campaign, going 1-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .935 save percentage. Considering the 30-year-old netminder failed to reach the 30-win mark last season for the first time in four years, this strong start could be an indication that Saros will get back over that threshold this year.

Korpisalo will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Monday, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.

Blackwood was assigned to AHL Colorado on Monday for a conditioning loan.
Blackwood could be in the minors for 14 consecutive days to get back up to game speed. He will miss his fourth straight game against Buffalo on Monday, but he is progressing toward a return to the lineup. Scott Wedgewood has been occupying the No. 1 role for the Avalanche during Blackwood's absence.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Patroling crease Monday
Wedgewood will be in goal on the road versus the Sabres on Monday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Wedgwood has yet to lose in regulation this season, posting a 2-0-1 record, 1.95 GAA and .925 save percentage through three outings. With Mackenzie Blackwood (lower body) headed to AHL Colorado on a conditioning assignment, the net figures to remain Wedgewood's for the time being. If Wedgewood continues to perform at this level, he could force his way into a split share.

Lyon will patrol the home crease against Colorado on Monday, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Lyon has permitted five goals on 62 shots in two losses to begin the 2025-26 season. Colorado has scored 10 goals in three games this campaign and is coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to Dallas on Saturday.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Guarding cage versus Kings
Wallstedt will patrol the crease for Monday's home game against Los Angeles, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.
Wallstedt will take the first game of the Wild's back-to-back, which means Filip Gustavsson should get the nod on the road versus Dallas on Tuesday. It will be the season debut for the 22-year-old Wallstedt. Last season, the Swede appeared in just two regular-season games for Minnesota, going 0-2-0 with a 4.10 GAA. Even as the No. 2 option for the Wild, Wallstedt should see significantly more opportunities in 2025-26.
