  • Wild's Samuel Hlavaj: Collects AHL shutout

Hlavaj recorded a 30-save shutout in AHL Iowa's 4-0 win over Texas on Wednesday.

Hlavaj made his 20th AHL appearance of the season and picked up his second shutout. He's had some moments, but his 6-10-4 record, 3.30 GAA and .885 save percentage show he still has some things to work on at Iowa. Hlavaj also had a 3.56 GAA and .908 save percentage across five games for Slovakia at the Olympics, helping his country to a fourth-place finish.

  • Predators' Matt Murray: Earns shutout for Admirals

Murray posted a 16-save shutout in AHL Milwaukee's 7-0 win over Manitoba on Wednesday.

Murray ended a three-game skid with this shutout, which was his fourth of the season. He's managed a 20-20-2 record with a 2.81 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 43 appearances, a far cry from his 2.07 GAA and .932 save percentage in the 2024-25 regular season. Murray will likely remain in the AHL unless the Predators are without one of their regular goalies.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Going for imaging

Stolarz needs imaging done to assess the severity of the lower-body injury he sustained Wednesday versus the Capitals, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.

Stolarz could be done for the season, considering the Maple Leafs have just four games left. Artur Akhtyamov will be recalled to start Thursday's road game against the Islanders and could fill the backup role behind Joseph Woll for the remainder of the campaign. If the injury ends Stolarz's season, he will finish with a 10-10-3 record, a 3.28 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 26 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Artur Akhtyamov: Starting Thursday's game

Akhtyamov will be recalled from AHL Toronto and start Thursday's road game versus the Islanders, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Akhtyamov may stick with the Maple Leafs for the rest of the regular season after Anthony Stolarz (lower body) sustained an injury Wednesday versus the Capitals. Thursday's game will be Akhtyamov's first NHL start after his debut came in a relief appearance against the Oilers on Dec. 13, when he stopped all five shots he faced. He has a 20-12-6 record with a 2.90 GAA and a .903 save percentage over 36 AHL appearances this season.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Guarding goal versus Sharks

Ingram will protect the road goal versus the Sharks on Wednesday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Ingram will get the nod in the second half of a back-to-back after Tristan Jarry lost to the Mammoth in overtime on Tuesday. Ingram is 3-1-0 with 10 goals allowed over his last four games. The Sharks have scored 22 goals over their last six games, winning five of them as they work toward a playoff spot.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Hurt early Wednesday

Stolarz sustained a lower-body injury in Wednesday's game versus the Capitals and won't return to the contest.

Stolarz needed help off the ice after stretching out his left leg to make a save early in the first period. Joseph Woll took over in goal Wednesday and will end up playing nearly the whole game. The Maple Leafs will likely need to call up a goalie to start Thursday's road game versus the Islanders. Given the time of the season and the nature of Stolarz's injury, the team may opt to shut him down for the rest of the campaign.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Not suiting up Wednesday

Lindgren (upper body) won't be in uniform for Wednesday's game versus the Maple Leafs, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Lindgren took a maintenance day Tuesday, and he will be out of the lineup for at least a game. It's not yet clear whether Lindgren will be able to suit up in either game of the Capitals' home-and-home set versus the Penguins this weekend.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: In goal Wednesday

Stolarz will protect the home goal versus the Capitals on Wednesday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Stolarz will make his third appearance in four games. However, he has an .875 save percentage over his previous two outings, allowing seven goals on 56 shots in that span. Washington has 28 goals over its last six games and is coming off an 8-1 loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Slated to face Edmonton

Nedeljkovic is expected to start at home against Edmonton on Wednesday, per Max Miller of NHL.com.

Nedeljkovic has allowed two or fewer goals in each of his past four appearances, going 3-0-1 over that stretch. He's 16-13-4 with a 2.89 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 37 outings in 2025-26. He'll look for a better result against the Oilers after allowing five goals on 37 shots en route to a 5-3 loss to Edmonton on March 17. However, Edmonton is a challenging opponent that ranks fifth in goals per game with 3.46 this season.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Between pipes versus Leafs

Thompson will tend the twine for Wednesday's road clash with Toronto, Capitals radio play-by-play announcer John Walton reports.

Thompson has given up four or more goals in four of his last five outings while still posting a 4-1-0 record. He has gone 28-21-6 this season with two shutouts, a 2.52 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 55 appearances. While being outscored 11-7, Toronto has lost two straight games to begin April.
