Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Falls short in Minnesota
Daccord allowed four goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.
Daccord didn't have a great performance, allowing at least four goals for the fourth time in his last five outings. He'll likely get the majority of the playing time in the absence of Philipp Grubauer (lower body), though Matt Murray could also get an appearance at some point. Daccord is down to 19-20-6 with a 3.04 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 46 appearances. The Kraken begin their last homestand Thursday versus the Golden Knights.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Secures win over Kraken
Wallstedt stopped 25 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.
Wallstedt came away with his third straight win. He allowed both goals in the first period before locking things down in the final 40 minutes. Wallstedt improved to 17-8-6 with a 2.65 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 33 outings this season. The 23-year-old netminder should get at least one more start in the regular season since the Wild end on a back-to-back, but it wouldn't be surprising if he got two starts to afford Filip Gustavsson a little extra rest. The Wild begin a three-game road trip Thursday in Dallas, offering a preview of a first-round series.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Solid play has team in wild card
Ullmark made 28 saves in a 6-2 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.
The game was tight into the midpoint of the third when the Sens broke it open. Ullmark has won two straight and three in his last four games. He has allowed just six goals in those three wins. Ullmark has taken a lot of heat for poor play this season, but he's gone 12-4-3 in 19 games since his return from a month-long personal leave from Dec. 28 to Jan. 25. Ullmark's save percentage this season (.887) is below the league average (.896), but his 2.82 GAA is actually better than the league average (2.88). Ottawa is now two points ahead of the Blue Jackets for the second playoff wild card from the Eastern Conference.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Game closer than score indicates
Johansson made 25 saves in a 6-2 loss to Ottawa on Tuesday. He allowed five goals.
The game was tight well into the third -- the score was just 3-2 at the midpoint of the frame, and then the Sens took charge. The Bolts challenged a Tim Stutzle goal for goalie interference, but it was upheld, and then the Sens capitalized on the ensuing power play to push the game to 5-2. Johansson could get more playing time before season's end in order to give Andrei Vasilevskiy a rest prior to the postseason. In theory, the Bolts are good enough to win with Johansson in net, so consider him for spot starts.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: So close to regulation win
Tarasov made 29 saves in a 4-3 shootout loss to Montreal on Tuesday .
He came within 21 seconds of regulation win, but Ivan Demidov pulled Tarasov way out of position with a sick move before nicking the puck back out to Nick Suzuki, who scored into an empty net. It was Tarasov's second straight start; he has allowed eight goals in two losses, one in a shootout.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Sixth win in row
Dobes made 30 saves Tuesday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Panthers.
It was Dobes' sixth win in a row; he's 10-3-0 since the Olympic break. He has been instrumental in the Habs' surge into a tie for first in the Atlantic, and right now, it looks like Dobes and Jacob Fowler are the netminders of choice headed into the postseason. Dobes has no pro experience in the postseason, but his success can't be denied.

Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Making another start
Hart will guard the road goal versus the Canucks on Tuesday.
Hart has won his last two outings, stopping 50 of 54 shots in those games since his return from a lower-body injury. He's quickly ascended to the top of the Golden Knights' depth chart in goal. He's in a good position to keep up his winning ways against the Canucks' abysmal offense.
-
Justus Annunen G | NSH
Predators' Justus Annunen: Starting in Anaheim
Annunen will protect the road goal versus the Ducks on Tuesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Annunen will get his second start of the Predators' road trip, and it comes in the second half of a back-to-back. The 26-year-old has lost his last two outings, allowing six goals on 57 shots in those games. The Ducks have gone 0-4-1 with 14 goals scored over their last five games.

Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Tending twine Tuesday
Vejmelka will guard the home goal versus the Oilers on Tuesday.
Vejmelka has won three outings in a row, a span in which the Mammoth have outscored opponents 19-8. The 29-year-old netminder will look to keep things rolling in a tougher matchup, which could end up being a playoff preview as well. Vejmelka continues to lead the NHL in appearances -- this will be his 60th of the campaign.

Devin Cooley G | CGY
Flames' Devin Cooley: Starting in Dallas
Cooley will guard the road goal against Dallas on Tuesday, according to Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Cooley is coming off a 36-save performance in Saturday's 5-3 win over Anaheim. He has a 10-9-5 record this campaign with a 2.63 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 29 appearances. Dallas ranks ninth in the league with 3.29 goals per game this season.
