  • Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Will start Friday

Vanecek will start at home versus the Ducks on Friday.

Once again, Vanecek is getting the start after a previous report indicated it would be Karel Vejmelka. The gamesmanship from head coach Andre Tourigny continues to frustrate fantasy managers, but Vanecek has been steady lately, allowing just six goals on 72 shots over his last three games.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Gets starting nod Friday

Soderblom will protect the home goal in Friday's game versus the Avalanche, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Soderblom has a brutal matchup in the second half of a back-to-back after Spencer Knight defeated the Wild on Thursday. This will be Soderblom's first appearance since March 8, when he lost in overtime to the Stars after giving up four goals on 31 shots.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Facing Flames on Friday

Tarasov will guard the road goal versus the Flames on Friday, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports.

Tarasov will get the second half of a back-to-back after Sergei Bobrovsky shut out the Oilers on Thursday. The Panthers have alternated goalies for most of March, though this will be Tarasov's first outing in three games, so he's still in the backup role. It's an easy matchup, but the back-to-back factor could add some difficulty for Tarasov.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Set to start versus Hurricanes

Woll will protect the home goal versus the Hurricanes on Friday, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.

Woll is set to start for the fifth time in the last six games. The 27-year-old has gone 1-2-1 with 11 goals allowed on 139 shots over his previous four outings. His performance has been solid despite the lack of positive results, though the Maple Leafs continue to struggle. The Hurricanes are a tough test, having scored 20 goals over their last six games.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: In goal Friday

Allen will protect the road goal versus the Capitals on Friday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Allen has played just once since the Olympic break, allowing four goals on 31 shots in a win over the Kings on Saturday. The 35-year-old netminder has taken a back seat to Jacob Markstrom in recent weeks. The Capitals have been inconsistent, going 3-2-1 with 17 goals scored over their last six games.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Slated starter for Saturday

Luukkonen is expected to start on the road against Los Angeles on Saturday, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.

Luukkonen has been on a roll recently, posting a 5-1-0 record, 2.18 GAA and .925 save percentage across his past six outings. He has a 16-8-2 record, 2.60 GAA and .908 save percentage in 27 appearances in 2025-26. The Kings are competing for a playoff spot, but they've been a mixed bag in the month of March, going 4-3-2 while averaging 3.33 goals per game.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Guarding cage versus Mammoth

Dostal will patrol the blue paint on the road against Utah on Friday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Dostal has struggled a little of late, giving up three or more goals in four of his last five outings, though he still managed to walk away with a 3-1-1 record. As long as the wins keep piling up, the young netminder should continue to see the bulk of the workload in the stretch run.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Between pipes Friday

Vejmelka is slated to start at home versus Anaheim on Friday, according to Brogan Houston of the Deseret News.

Vejmelka shut out the Golden Knights on Thursday, stopping 28 shots in a 4-0 win. He is 31-18-3 with a 2.67 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 53 appearances. It will be the first time this season that Vejmelka will play on back-to-back nights. The Ducks are tied for 12th in NHL scoring, averaging 3.19 goals per game.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Earns win versus Seattle

Annunen stopped 25 of 26 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Annunen had one of his best performances of the season in this win over the Kraken, but the strong performances have been the norm recently for the 26-year-old Finnish native. This was the fourth consecutive game in which Annunen allowed three or fewer goals, and he's gone 2-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and a .924 save percentage in that stretch. Annunen could be in line for more playing time in the coming days since the No. 1 goaltender, Juuse Saros, is currently dealing with an upper-body injury. If Saros isn't deemed healthy to play against Vegas on Saturday, Annunen should get the nod once again.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Posts 21-save shutout

Bobrovsky posted a 21-save shutout in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Oilers.

Bobrovsky was outstanding throughout the game, and the fact that he earned a shutout against a team led by none other than Connor McDavid makes it even more impressive. This was a big bounce-back effort for Bobrovsky, who allowed five goals on 22 shots against the Canucks on Tuesday. That performance against Vancouver was a bump in the road, though, as Bobrovsky has now allowed one or fewer goals in his other three starts dating back to March 6. He has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.51 GAA and a .906 save percentage in six outings since the beginning of March.
