  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Saddled with loss Monday

Hofer turned aside 23 of 25 shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Jets, with Winnipeg's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The game was tied 1-1 heading into the third period, but the Jets outshot the Blues 10-4 in the final frame, and Hofer couldn't keep Alex Iafallo from banging home a rebound at the 7:05 mark after the Blues had blown multiple chances to clear the zone. It was Hofer's first regulation loss since Feb. 6, and in between the 24-year-old netminder had gone 6-0-2 with a 2.20 GAA and a .902 save percentage.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Another tough night Monday

Shesterkin stopped 18 of 22 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Lightning, with Tampa Bay's final tally getting scored into an empty net.

Three of the pucks that got by Shesterkin came on Tampa power plays, and he didn't have much chance on the fourth one, either. The Rangers' late-season struggles have all but eliminated them from the playoff picture -- they're six points back of the Habs for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference with five games left on their schedule -- and while Shesterkin isn't to blame for the collapse, he also hasn't done much to turn things around. Since shutting out Columbus on March 15, the netminder has gone 2-6-1 with a 3.40 GAA and an .880 save percentage.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Sharp in Monday's win

Vasilevskiy made 38 saves in Monday's 5-1 win over the Rangers.

A power-play tally by Mika Zibanejad in the second period spoiled his shutout bid, but it was otherwise another impressive performance from Vasilevskiy. The 2018-19 Vezina Trophy winner is locked in as the playoffs approach, allowing three goals or fewer in nine straight starts while going 7-2-0 with a stellar 1.33 GAA and .944 save percentage. With five games left on Tampa Bay's regular-season schedule, Vasilevskiy needs three more wins to reach 40 for the second time in his career.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Slated to start against Seattle

Kuemper is expected to defend the home crease against the Kraken on Monday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kuemper is in the midst of a three-game winning streak, and he's slated to draw a fourth consecutive start Monday. Across his last three outings, he's posted a 1.00 GAA and .961 save percentage. The 34-year-old made a road start against the Kraken on Jan. 18 and turned aside 18 of 21 shots (.857 save percentage) en route to the loss.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Ducks' John Gibson: Won't dress against Oilers

Gibson (lower body) will not be in the lineup versus Edmonton on Monday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Gibson has been limited to just six appearances in the Ducks' 23 games since returning from the 4 Nations Face-Off, going 2-2-0 with a 3.07 GAA and .900 save percentage. Even if Gibson was healthy, he may have needed to settle for a spot on the bench down the stretch in favor of Lukas Dostal.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Leaves ice first Monday

Daccord was the first goalie off the ice ahead of Monday's road game versus the Kings, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes.

Daccord is riding a two-game winning streak during which he has posted a .979 save percentage and one shutout. The 28-year-old backstop has already set new personal bests with games played (53) and wins (26) this year, but will be hard-pressed to reach the 30-win mark given there are just five games remaining on Seattle's schedule.

  • Oilers' Olivier Rodrigue: First NHL start on tap

Rodrigue will make his first NHL start on the road against Anaheim on Monday, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.

Rodrigue made his NHL debut in relief against Seattle on March 27 and turned aside seven of eight shots (.875 save percentage). He's made 40 appearances for AHL Bakersfield this year, going 18-15-7 with a 3.05 GAA and .899 save percentage. The 24-year-old will have a favorable opponent for his first NHL start, as the Ducks are averaging just 2.68 goals per game, which is tied for the fifth-worst mark in the league.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Slated to start against Edmonton

Dostal is slated to start Monday's home game against the Oilers, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal has been inconsistent in recent outings, going 2-3-0 with a 3.90 GAA and .864 save percentage over his last six appearances. He's made two starts against the Oilers this year, both on the road, and he went 1-1-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .918 save percentage in those outings.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Defending crease Monday

Wolf will guard the road goal against San Jose on Monday, according to Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Wolf has gone 1-1-1 in his last three outings but has surrendered only six goals on 88 shots. He has a 25-16-7 record with three shutouts, a 2.63 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. San Jose sits 31st in the league with 2.55 goals per game in 2024-25. Wolf is 2-0-0 versus the Sharks this season while stopping 48 of 51 shots.

  • Sharks' Georgi Romanov: First goalie off

Romanov was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports, indicating that he'll defend the home crease against the Flames.

Romanov was relatively effective in relief against the Kraken on Saturday, turning aside 10 of 11 shots (.909 save percentage). However, he hasn't been particularly sharp since mid-March, going 0-3-0 with a 4.21 GAA and .864 save percentage over five appearances. He'll have a favorable matchup against the Flames, as they're averaging just 2.58 goals per game this season, which is the third-worst mark in the NHL.
