Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: First win in last five starts
Ersson made 17 saves through overtime and four more in the shootout in a 4-3 SO win over Tampa Bay on Thurday.
It was Ersson's first win in his last five games (1-2-1). He has been hung out to dry by his team in a lot of those contests, and he has allowed 19 goals in those five outings. Ersson may be talented, but he's a rough activation this season. He's 19-12-4 with a 2.96 GAA and .888 save percentage with two shutouts.

Filip Gustavsson G | MIN
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Falls in overtime
Gustavsson stopped 28 of 31 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers.
The Wild were able to cash in on two of four power plays, erasing a pair of one-goal deficits, while Gustavsson did well to keep things close. Braden Schneider delivered the game-winner at 1:51 of the extra session, sending Gustavsson to his third loss in six outings (3-2-1). In that span, he's allowed just 13 goals, so he has largely continued to play well recently after struggling at times in December and January. The netminder is 25-14-4 on the year with a 2.57 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 44 starts. The Wild continue their homestand against the Blues on Saturday in a game that would be helpful for the Wild to win and put some distance between them and the pack of teams competing for the second wild-card spot out west.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Goes up all-time goalie greats list
Bobrovsky made 23 saves in a 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday.
Remember that time, not that long ago, that people thought Bobrovsky's game was headed sharply down? That was just a couple seasons ago, and Thursday, Bob notched his 424th career win. That moved Bobrovsky past Tony Esposito into 10th place on the NHL's all-time list. He's 5-1-0 in his last six games with two shutouts and just nine goals allowed. And he's 28-14-2 this season, with a 2.49 GAA and .907 save percentage.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Secures overtime win
Shesterkin stopped 26 of 28 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild.
Shesterkin let a couple of one-goal leads slip away, but Braden Schneider delivered the game-winning goal in overtime to secure the Rangers' victory. This ended a three-game skid for Shesterkin, who had allowed nine goals on 87 shots while going 0-1-2 in that span. The 29-year-old netminder improved to 22-22-4 with a 2.85 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. The Rangers have a back-to-back up next -- they visit the Blue Jackets on Saturday in a game with massive impacts on the playoff race before hosting the Oilers on Sunday. Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick are likely to split those starts.

Anthony Stolarz G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Losing streak in March
Stolarz made 22 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Panthers on Thursday.
The game was tight -- the Panthers' third goal didn't come until 17:13 of the second period. Stolarz played well, but the Cats dominated on the power play, scoring twice. The Ides of March have come early to his game. Stolarz is 0-2-1 in three starts (four appearances), with 12 goals allowed and an .876 save percentage in that span. He'll be fine. It's good for the Leafs that he's getting this out of his system now, but that doesn't help his fantasy managers.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Set to start Thursday
Johansson will protect the road goal versus the Flyers on Thursday, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports.
It's a simple spot start for Johansson against a weaker opponent, allowing Andrei Vasilevskiy to rest after he started the previous three games, losing two of them. Johansson's last appearance was a 31-save performance in a 6-2 win over the Blue Jackets on March 4. The 29-year-old will face the Flyers, who have scored just eight goals during their five-game losing streak.
-
Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Expected to start Thursday
Skinner is set to start on the road against New Jersey on Thursday, per Jason Gregor of Oilers Nation.
Skinner has been something of a mixed bag recently, posting a 2-1-0 record, 2.96 GAA and .880 save percentage across his past three appearances. Unreliability has also been the theme of his overall body of work in 2024-25 -- he has a 22-16-4 record, 2.88 GAA and .896 save percentage across 44 outings. New Jersey ranks an okay 14th in goals per game with 2.98. However, top forward Jack Hughes (shoulder) and offensive defenseman Dougie Hamilton (lower body) are both out, so Skinner won't be facing the Devils at their full potential.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Exits ice first
Lindgren was the first goalie off the ice Thursday, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports, indicating he'll patrol the blue paint on the road against the Kings.
Lindgren is back to splitting the workload with Logan Thompson, having started two of the Capitals' last four outings in which he posted a 2-0-0 record and 1.93 GAA. Given the current rotation, fantasy managers should probably expect Thompson to get the road start versus the Sharks on Saturday before Lindgren is back between the pipes at home Tuesday against Detroit.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Set to face San Jose
Knight is expected to start on the road against San Jose on Thursday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Knight has a 2-1-0 record, 1.98 GAA and .941 save percentage in three appearances since being acquired by Chicago from Florida. Overall, he has a 14-9-1 record, 2.35 GAA and .912 save percentage in 26 outings in 2024-25. The Sharks rank 31st in goals per game with 2.61.

Alexandar Georgiev G | BUF
Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Facing Blackhawks
Georgiev will defend the home net versus Chicago on Thursday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Georgiev has lost three straight games, allowing 14 goals on 79 shots (.823 save percentage) in losses to Colorado, the Islanders and Nashville. It has been a bad season for Georgiev, who started the campaign with Colorado before he was dealt to San Jose on Dec. 9. Georgiev is 12-22-1 with an .874 save percentage across 39 appearances this year. The Blackhawks are generating 2.71 goals per game, 25th in the NHL this season.
