  • Canucks' Aku Koskenvuo: Sent to AHL

Koskenvuo was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Monday.

Koskenvuo was recalled by the Canucks last Tuesday to practice with the NHL club late in the Olympic break, but he'll return to the minors before the team resumes play. Over nine appearances with Abbotsford this year, he's gone 2-5-0 with a 3.20 GAA and .895 save percentage.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: In contention Wednesday

Luukkonen (lower body) will be an option for Wednesday's road game versus the Devils, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

Head coach Lindy Ruff wouldn't go so far as to confirm that Luukkonen will get the starting nod, but he will at least be available to serve as the backup to Alex Lyon if nothing else. In his last 10 appearances, the Finnish backstop is sporting a 6-2-1 record, a 2.73 GAA and a .912 save percentage. The Sabres' upcoming three-game road trip includes a back-to-back, so fantasy managers can expect him to feature sooner rather than later.

  • Jets' Domenic DiVincentiis: Elevated from minors

DiVincentiis was called up from AHL Manitoba on Monday.

DiVincentiis will link up with the Jets until Connor Hellebuyck rejoins the team after celebrating Team USA's win over Canada for the gold medal. With the team playing Wednesday against Vancouver, it's possible that DiVincentiis serves as the backup to Eric Comrie to give Hellebuyck more time to meet up with the club.

  • Capitals' Garin Bjorklund: Assigned to AHL

Bjorklund was loaned to AHL Hershey on Monday.

Washington activated Charlie Lindgren (lower body) from injured reserve in a corresponding move. Bjorklund has posted a 4-5-3 record with a 3.47 GAA and an .881 save percentage in 12 AHL appearances this season. He has also gone 4-2-0 with a 2.37 GAA and a .929 save percentage in seven outings for ECHL South Carolina during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Good to go following Olympic break

Ullmark (illness) should be healthy for the Senators following the Olympic break, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Ullmark missed time in January due to personal reasons and was unavailable for the Senators' final game before the Olympic break due to flu-like symptoms. However, he's moved past his illness and should have an opportunity to see plenty of playing time for Ottawa down the stretch. Across 30 appearances this year, he's gone 16-8-5 with a 2.86 GAA and .884 save percentage.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Removed from IR

Lindgren (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

As expected, Lindgren will be available for Wednesday's home matchup against Philadelphia following a four-game absence. He has gone 8-6-3 this season with one shutout, a 3.37 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 18 appearances.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Secures AHL shutout

Murashov posted a 25-save shutout in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 4-0 win over Bridgeport on Sunday.

Murashov reached the 20-win mark with this effort, which was also his third shutout in 28 AHL outings this season. He's won nine of his last 12 contests. Overall, he has a 2.13 GAA, a .924 save percentage and a 20-6-1 record for WBS this season, as well as a 1-1-2 record in five NHL outings with the Penguins.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Heartbreaking OT loss against USA

Binnington stopped 26 shots in Canada's 2-1 overtime loss to the USA in the Olympic men's hockey gold medal game Sunday.

Matt Boldy snuck a puck past Binnington early in the first period, but the Blues netminder shut the door for the rest of regulation and gave Canada every chance to win the game before it got to OT, when Jack Hughes beat him glove side for the Golden Goal. Binnington came up big for his country once again in international play, and he'll try to carry that momentum back with him to a St. Louis squad that sits at the bottom of the Central Division.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Huge in gold medal win

Hellebuyck made 41 saves in Team USA's 2-1 overtime win over Canada in the Olympic gold medal game Sunday.

Cale Makar got a puck past Hellebuyck late in the second period, but Hellebuyck otherwise stood on his head in the biggest game of his career, as Team USA came away with gold despite being out-shot 42-28. The 41 saves were more than he's made in any game for the Jets this season, and Hellebuyck will return to his NHL squad this week with renewed confidence after a rough start to 2025-26.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Returns to practice

Quick (lower body) returned to practice Sunday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Quick left Saturday's practice early due to precautionary reasons, but there seems to be no reason for concern, as he was back on the ice for Sunday's practice. The 40-year-old will continue to be relied upon as the No. 1 goaltender in New York until Igor Shesterkin (lower body) is able to return. Quick is 4-14-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .890 save percentage on the season.
