  • Devils' Nico Daws: Assigned to AHL

Daws was assigned to AHL Utica on Sunday.

Daws has played well over three appearances since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, posting a 2-0-0 record, 0.49 GAA and .981 save percentage. However, he'll head back to the minors after Jacob Markstrom (knee) was activated off injured reserve.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Activated off injured reserve

Markstrom (knee) was activated off injured reserve Sunday.

Markstrom has been sidelined since late January due to a sprained MCL, but he's been activated ahead of Sunday's road matchup in Vegas. It's not yet clear whether he'll start against the Golden Knights, especially since Jake Allen got the night off Saturday against Utah. Markstrom should see ample playing time in the near future, especially since Allen hasn't been particularly sharp in recent starts.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Tending twine Sunday

Oettinger will patrol the home crease against St. Louis on Sunday, according to Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.

Oettinger is coming off a 29-save performance in Friday's 6-2 win over the Kings. He has a 28-13-2 record with one shutout, a 2.42 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 43 appearances this season. St. Louis is tied for 20th in the league with 2.84 goals per game in 2024-25 and posted a 4-1 win over the Kings on Saturday.

Wolf will defend the road net against Carolina on Sunday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Wolf will get the second half of Calgary's back-to-back after Dan Vladar played in Saturday's 3-0 loss to Florida. The 23-year-old Wolf has a 20-12-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.60 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 35 appearances this season. Carolina ranks 11th in the league with 3.22 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost 3-1 to Edmonton on Saturday.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: In goal Sunday

Gustavsson will protect the home net against Boston on Sunday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Gustavsson has lost his last two outings, surrendering seven goals on 45 shots. He has a 22-13-3 record with three shutouts, a 2.67 GAA and a .912 save percentage in 39 appearances this season. Boston sits 22nd in the league with 3.16 goals per game in 2024-25 and earned a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Facing Flames

Kochetkov will patrol the home crease against Calgary on Sunday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Kochetkov will get the second half of Carolina's back-to-back after Frederik Andersen played in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Edmonton. The 25-year-old Kochetkov has a 21-11-3 record with one shutout, a 2.53 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 36 appearances this season. Calgary is tied for last in the league with 2.56 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost 3-0 to Florida on Saturday.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Starting vs. Rangers

Annunen will guard the road net Sunday against the Rangers, Predators Radio Host Max Herz reports.

Annunen will get the call in the second leg of a back-to-back after Juuse Saros started Saturday against the Islanders. It's been a tough stretch for Annunen, who has allowed four or more goals in each of his last four outings. Overall, the 24-year-old netminder is 7-4-0 with an .899 save percentage since joining the Predators from Colorado earlier this year.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Losing streak grows to four

Andersen allowed two goals while making 28 saves in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Oilers.

Andersen gave up one goal in each of the first two periods before Edmonton sealed the win with an empty-netter after Andersen left the ice. The 35-year-old is currently on a four-game losing streak, during which he has surrendered 12 goals. Overall, Andersen has a 6-5-0 record with a 2.29 GAA and a .907 save percentage. For the time being, it is best to proceed with caution when playing Andersen in fantasy even though he holds decent value behind a strong Hurricanes defense. Carolina remains in a playoff spot in the Metropolitan, and Andersen will likely continue to alternate with Pyotr Kochetkov in net.

  • Panthers' Chris Driedger: Called up Sunday

Driedger was called up from AHL Charlotte on Sunday, per PuckPedia.

Driedger figures to serve as Sergei Bobrovsky's backup the rest of the season, barring other moves, after Spencer Knight was dealt to Chicago for Seth Jones. The 30-year-old Driedger has yet to appear in an NHL game this year. He made two starts for Seattle in 2023-24, going 1-1-0 with a .917 save percentage.

  • Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Strong outing in win

Pickard allowed just one goal while stopping 35 shots in Saturday's 3-1 road win over the Hurricanes.

Pickard was perfect at even strength for the Oilers as the lone goal he allowed was to Sebastian Aho during a Carolina power play. With the win, the 32-year-old Pickard is up to a 15-6-0 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .901 save percentage. Saturday's win was Pickard's first since Feb. 5, when he had a five-game winning streak. The Oilers' backup goaltender has been one of the better relief options in net this season, allowing four goals or more only three times this season. Pickard is a strong streaming option in all fantasy formats when he is slated to start with Edmonton's stacked skating core in front of him.
