  • John Gibson G | DET

Ducks' John Gibson: Won't suit up Thursday

Gibson (upper body) is still out for Thursday's game versus the Canucks, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Gibson will miss his third straight game with the injury. Lukas Dostal is getting the start Thursday, and Oscar Dansk is once again filling the backup role. Gibson's next chance to play is Saturday versus the Blackhawks.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Set to face Winnipeg

Saros is expected to start at home against Winnipeg on Thursday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

The Jets are tied for second in goals per game with 3.58 and are on an 11-game winning streak that's brought their record up to 42-14-3, so to suggest this will be a tough assignment for Saros would be underselling it. Saros also hasn't inspired much confidence this season with his 12-24-6 record, 2.93 GAA and .899 save percentage in 43 appearances. He struggled in his past two starts against the Jets, going 0-2-0 while allowing seven goals on 57 shots (.877 save percentage).

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

Jets' Eric Comrie: Guarding cage Thursday

Comrie will protect the road goal versus the Predators on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Comrie will get the second half of a back-to-back after Connor Hellebuyck was in goal for Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Senators. Comrie has won his last three outings, allowing five goals on 75 shots in that span. The 29-year-old has a favorable matchup Thursday -- the Predators have scored just 13 goals over their last six games.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Starting versus Sabres

Kochetkov will guard the home goal versus the Sabres on Thursday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.

Kochetkov has been mediocre in February, going 1-2-0 with 10 goals allowed on 90 shots over his three outings this month. The 25-year-old netminder will face a Sabres team that ranks 10th in the league with 3.21 goals per game despite being in last place in the Atlantic Division.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Expected to start Thursday

Swayman is set to start in Thursday's home clash against the Islanders, per Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald.

Swayman will look to get back into the win column after posting a record of 0-1-2 across his past three starts. He also allowed 12 goals on 96 shots (.875 save percentage) in that span, giving him an 18-18-6 record, 3.02 GAA and .897 save percentage in 42 outings in 2024-25. The Islanders rank 27th in goals per game with 2.70.

  • Petr Mrazek G | ANA

Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Expected to face Vegas

Mrazek is slated to start on the road against Vegas on Thursday, according to Scott Powers of The Athletic.

Mrazek will try to rebound after allowing five goals on 21 shots (.762 save percentage) in his last start Saturday against the Blue Jackets. He's 10-19-2 with a 3.33 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 32 outings this season. Vegas is tied for seventh in the NHL with 3.26 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Slated to start Thursday

Silovs is expected to start on the road against Anaheim on Thursday, per Jeff Paterson of Canucks Army.

Silovs has a 1-5-1 record, 3.82 GAA and .862 save percentage in eight appearances this season. He did hold his own in his last start Sunday, stopping 30 of 32 shots, but he still suffered a 2-1 loss to Utah due to a lack of goal support. Anaheim ranks 32nd in the NHL with 2.51 goals per game.

  • Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Tending twine versus Chicago

Samsonov was the first goalie off during Thursday's morning skate, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating that he'll defend the home crease against Chicago.

Samsonov wasn't particularly sharp Monday against the Kings, allowing five goals on 19 shots (.737 save percentage) in the road loss. However, he'll start in back-to-back games for the first time since mid-October. Samsonov should have a favorable opportunity to bounce back Thursday, as the Blackhawks are averaging just 2.62 goals per game this season, which is the fourth-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Starting against Vancouver

Dostal will start Thursday's home game against the Canucks, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal will draw a third consecutive start since John Gibson continues to deal with an upper-body injury. However, Dostal hasn't been particularly effective recently, going 0-1-1 with a 4.04 GAA and .890 save percentage over his last two outings. It's not yet clear whether Gibson will be healthy enough to serve as the backup Thursday or whether he'll be able to return Saturday against Chicago.

  • Wild's Marc-Andre Fleury: Expected to start Thursday

Fleury was the first netminder off the ice at morning skate, per Cole Bagley of KSL Sports, indicating that he will patrol the visiting crease in Utah on Thursday.

Fleury is 2-1-0 in his last three starts, giving up only five goals on 83 shots (.940 save percentage). Overall, the 40-year-old veteran is 12-6-1 with a 2.58 GAA and a .910 save percentage this year, marking his best season since leaving the Golden Knights after the 2020-21 campaign. Utah is generating 2.78 goals per game, which is tied for 22nd in the NHL this season.
