Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Records 18 saves in win
Vejmelka stopped 18 of the 20 shots he saw in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flyers.
Despite allowing two goals in the game's first 25 minutes, Vejmelka came up big down the stretch while tending a clean third and overtime period. The 28-year-old now has a 12-14-4 record with a .910 save percentage and a 2.46 GAA. Vejmelka continues to alternate starts in the crease with Connor Ingram. Since Ingram's return from injury Jan. 11, each keeper has started six games and tallied two wins. Unless one of the two netminders goes on a winning streak, consider Vejmelka a fringe roster player who should tend the twine roughly two times per week. While Utah's next contest is Thursday at Columbus, Vejmelka is likely to start the second game of the road trip Saturday against Carolina.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Registers 39 saves in loss
Ersson made 39 saves on the 42 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Utah.
Ersson tended a clean first period before Utah scored three of Tuesday's last four goals. He made multiple big saves in the extra period but fell one second short of forcing a shootout. The 25-year-old netminder now has a 15-10-3 record with a 2.84 GAA and a .894 save percentage. Since his five-game win streak in the middle of January, he has just one win over his past five appearances. With the state of Philadelphia's defense, he is set to face a high volume of shots moving forward. Ersson's inconsistencies in net make him a tough option to trust as an everyday starter in fantasy. However, he has some value as a streaming option with the right matchup. Ersson's next opportunity to defend the crease is on home ice Thursday against the Capitals.

Pyotr Kochetkov G | CAR
Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Support lacking Tuesday
Kochetkov allowed three goals on 30 shots (.900 save percentage) in a 3-0 loss to Winnipeg on Tuesday.
Kochetkov was far from perfect but certainly could have used some goal support to keep this one close. The loss saw the 25-year-old netminder's streak of six games without a regulation defeat come to an end. Since Frederik Andersen's return from a long-term knee injury, the duo has been splitting the workload, which means Kochetkov will likely get the nod versus Utah at home Saturday.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Shuts out Canes
Comrie stopped all 29 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Carolina.
This was easily Comrie's best performance of the season, as he had given up two or more goals in each of his previous 12 appearances. The 29-year-old netminder is now sporting a 5-7-1 record and 2.57 GAA in 13 outings. Despite the recent success, Comrie shouldn't be expected to see many starts outside of back-to-backs behind workhorse backstop Connor Hellebuyck.

Alexandar Georgiev G | BUF
Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Gives up four goals in loss
Georgiev stopped 16 of 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Georgiev is winless in his last six outings (0-5-0), and he's given up at least four goals in four of those games. The 28-year-old netminder at least kept this one close, but Joel Armia's shorthanded tally late in the third period was decisive in favor of the Canadiens. Georgiev is now 10-18-0 with a 3.66 GAA and a .875 save percentage over 32 outings. He may have an easier time getting starts now that Yaroslav Askarov is back with AHL San Jose and Vitek Vanecek has recovered from a facial injury, but Georgiev's performance is tough to stomach in fantasy. The Sharks' next game is at home versus the Canucks on Thursday.

Sam Montembeault G | MON
Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Fends off Sharks
Montembeault stopped 27 of 30 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.
Montembeault let a couple of one-goal leads slip away, but the third time was the charm, as he made Joel Armia's shorthanded tally late in the third period stand as the game-winner. This victory ended a three-game slide for Montembeault, who allowed 10 goals in that span. The 28-year-old netminder is now 18-19-3 with a 2.99 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 40 appearances this season. The Canadiens will likely roll with Jakub Dobes for Wednesday's game in Los Angeles, while Montembeault's next start could be Saturday versus the Devils or Sunday against the Lightning.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Takes narrow loss in Anaheim
Oettinger stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.
Oettinger's three-game winning streak was snapped in the low-scoring contest despite him allowing fewer goals versus the Ducks than he did in any of those victories. The 26-year-old should be just fine in the long run -- games like this will happen to even the best goalies on occasion. He's now at a 26-12-1 record with a 2.31 GAA and a .912 save percentage through 39 appearances this season. Look for Oettinger to split the last two games before the 4 Nations Face-Off with Casey DeSmith. The Stars visit the Kings on Friday and the Sharks on Saturday prior to the break.

John Gibson G | DET
Ducks' John Gibson: Earns win in 500th career outing
Gibson stopped 26 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Stars.
Gibson got the nod Tuesday for his 500th career appearance, and he didn't disappoint. He limited the Stars to a Colin Blackwell tally in the third period. While Gibson is just 2-3-0 over his last six outings, he's given up only 11 goals in that span to reclaim an even split of time in the Anaheim crease with Lukas Dostal. Gibson is up to 9-9-2 with a 2.69 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 23 appearances. The Ducks have a break in their schedule -- they're off for the next three days, then face the Kings on Saturday before the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Keeps team in it
Daccord stopped 36 of 40 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Red Wings.
Daccord had some struggles in this game, but he stood tall to close out the third period, allowing the Kraken to rally and force overtime. The 28-year-old gave up the lone tally in the shootout, but it was a big-time performance to snag a standings point. Daccord has gone 2-3-1 across his last six outing to drop to 18-13-3 with a 2.49 GAA and a .916 save percentage over 36 contests overall. The Kraken's homestand ends Thursday versus the Maple Leafs, which could be a challenging matchup for Daccord.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Third loss in last four starts
Wolf made 24 saves Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to Toronto. He allowed five goals.
Few goalies can stop the offensive waves of the Maple Leafs, so Wolf need not feel bad about the effort. William Nylander racked up his second career hat trick and Auston Matthews had three assists. Wolf has lost three of his last four games and allowed 10 goals in those three losses, but he has 19 wins and sparkling 2.58 GAA and .914 save percentage overall. He earned the NHL's rookie of the month honor in January with a 7-3-0 record, .922 save percentage and 2.32 GAA.
