Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Another solid outing
Woll made 23 saves in a 6-3 win over Calgary on Tuesday.
Woll played another strong game, especially with the Leafs racking up five minor penalties by the 5:06 mark of the second period. The Flames scored twice with the man advantage, but it's hard to fault him for those. Woll is one win from reaching 20 this season, and his 2.66 GAA and .909 save percentage are strong marks. He's already played a lot of hockey this season relative to his short NCAA seasons, so it will be good to get Anthony Stolarz (knee) back on the bench to keep the pairing as strong as possible.

Cam Talbot G | DET
Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Holds on for shootout win
Talbot stopped 23 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kraken.
Talbot had given up a total of five goals across his previous four games. The Kraken were able to force overtime with a multi-goal comeback in the third period, but Patrick Kane tallied in the shootout to give the Red Wings their seventh straight win. Talbot's been in net for five of them, improving his season record to 16-10-2. The 37-year-old has added a 2.83 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 30 appearances. The Red Wings play once more before the 4 Nations Face-Off break, and that game is Saturday at home versus the Lightning.

Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Blanks Avalanche
Demko posted a 25-save shutout in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Avalanche.
Demko turned in arguably his best performance of the season, which was also the second time he's defeated Colorado in 2024-25. His previous shutout was March 9, 2024, versus the Jets. Demko is up to 5-6-3 with a 3.03 GAA and an .882 save percentage over 15 contests, but he's allowed just four goals over his last three outings. The California native may be in line to start again Thursday versus the Sharks, though Kevin Lankinen has also played fairly well of late.

MacKenzie Blackwood G | COL
Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Loses to Canucks
Blackwood allowed two goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Canucks. The third goal was an empty-netter.
For the third game in a row, the Avalanche were involved in a shutout, but this was the first time in that stretch it wasn't in their favor. Blackwood still put in a decent performance but didn't get any scoring support. He's won three of his last five outings while allowing 10 goals in that span. For the season, he's 18-15-5 with a 2.50 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 39 appearances. Blackwood will likely start once more before the 4 Nations Face-Off break, either in Calgary on Thursday or in Edmonton on Friday.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Brilliant when heat went up
Vasilevskiy made 25 saves in a 4-3 win over the Senators on Tuesday.
Vasy was Vasy, especially late in the game when the Sens turned up the heat to try to tie the game. He made a right-pad save on Claude Giroux late that seemed destined to twitch the twine. Vasilevskiy is 2-0-1 in his last three games, and his 22 wins, 2.31 GAA and .918 save percentage put him squarely in the NHL's elite.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Loses in return from back injury
Ullmark (back) made 34 saves in a 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
The Bolts spoiled his return from injury -- he hadn't played since Dec. 22 (18 games) because of a back injury. Ullmark is 12-8-2 this season with a 2.41 GAA and .915 save percentage. Back injuries can be tricky, but he wouldn't be in net if he wasn't ready. Get Ullmark in your net -- he's too talented to ride the pine.

Ilya Samsonov G | LV
Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Fifth loss in last six games
Samsonov made 12 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday.
Samsonov wasn't busy, but the Islanders generated enough offense for Ilya Sorokin to carry them to victory despite the ice being tilted toward New York's net. Samsonov allowed a five-hole goal on a breakaway late in the first period and then a backhander off a low-slot scramble for a rebound got past him in the third. He has scuffled lately with a 1-4-1 record in his last six starts, all against teams outside playoff position. Use with caution.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Will start Friday
Hellebuyck will start at home versus the Islanders on Friday, Murat Ares of The Athletic reports.
Hellebuyck got a game off Tuesday, and he got to watch Eric Comrie put up a shutout win over the Hurricanes. The 31-year-old Hellebuyck will check back in for the Jets' last game prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off, and that game against the Islanders will serve as a tune-up for Team USA's No. 1 goalie.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Eighth win in last nine games
Sorokin made 33 saves Tuesday in a 2-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Sorokin made several bang-bang saves in the game, and the only puck that got past him came mid-way through the third on a scramble play on a rebound. He then stoned Jack Eichel twice with the extra attacker on the ice to preserve the win. Sorokin has won six straight games and eight of his last nine. He has allowed just 14 goals and put up two shutouts in those nine games, lifting his record to 19-14-4 with a 2.63 GAA and .908 save percentage. You can't go wrong with Sorokin in your net.

Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Back in win column
Thompson turned aside 31 of 34 shots during Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Panthers.
Thompson has faced two of the league's best in Winnipeg and Florida in his last two outings and has surrendered eight goals on 63 shots during that span. The 27-year-old was a surprise start Tuesday given that Washington has employed a fairly strict rotation between Thompson and Charlie Lindgren to this point in the season, so fantasy managers should keep an eye on the workload to see if this was an aberration or an indication that Thompson may be on tap for a larger share of the workload moving forward.
