  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Win streak ends

Bobrovsky turned aside 21 of 25 shots faced during Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.

Bobrovsky had enjoyed a four-game winning streak before coming up short in Tuesday's showdown against the high-flying Capitals. The 36-year-old could get back on track as early as Saturday, when the Panthers continue their road trip in St. Louis.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Unable to suit up

Wedgewood (upper body) won't suit up for Tuesday's game versus the Canucks, per the NHL media site.

Wedgewood will miss his second straight game while nursing the injury. Trent Miner will again serve as backup to Mackenzie Blackwood for Tuesday's contest. Wedgewood may get to start one of the Avalanche's last two games before the 4 Nations Face-Off break if he can return to fitness, as the team is in Calgary on Thursday and Edmonton on Friday.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Starting again Tuesday

Blackwood will protect the road goal versus the Canucks on Tuesday.

Blackwood has earned a shutout in each of his last two starts, needing just 43 total saves in that span. The 28-year-old looks to be back in a groove after a sluggish second half of January. He'll face a Canucks team that's still looking to find some chemistry after a couple of trades last week, including one that sent J.T. Miller to the Rangers.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tending twine Tuesday

Daccord will guard the home goal versus the Red Wings on Tuesday, per Emerald City Hockey.

Daccord allowed three goals, all in the first period, in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Flames. The 28-year-old will get a chance to redeem himself, albeit against a surging Red Wings team that is 7-2-1 over its last 10 games. Daccord has alternated wins and losses over his last six outings, but he's limited opponents to three or fewer goals in five of them.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Receiving starting nod

Skinner is set to start on the road versus the Blues on Tuesday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Skinner has lost four of his last five outings (1-3-1), giving up a total of 14 goals in that span. The Blues are also in a run of futility, having scored just six goals over their last five games while going 1-4-0 in that span. Something will have to give, and Skinner looks to be a good fantasy option in this matchup.

  • Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Facing Islanders

Samsonov will guard the road goal Tuesday versus the Islanders, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Samsonov will make his second start in the last three games, which could be a signal that the Golden Knights are resuming a goalie rotation. Samsonov took a 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets in his last outing, stopping 22 of 24 shots. The Islanders have scored 20 goals over their last six games, winning five of them.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Starting Tuesday

Ullmark will guard the road goal versus the Lightning on Tuesday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Ullmark will make his long-awaited return to the crease after missing 18 games. He suited up Monday in Nashville as the backup to Anton Forsberg for the Senators' 5-2 win over the Predators. Ullmark is 12-7-2 with a 2.38 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 23 appearances this season and will get a tough matchup right away against a Lightning team that's averaging 3.45 goals per game, third-best in the NHL.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Sabres' James Reimer: Starting against Blue Jackets

Reimer will patrol the home crease against Columbus on Tuesday, per Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.

Reimer has a 1-4-1 record with a 2.63 GAA and a .905 save percentage across his last eight appearances. Buffalo recalled Felix Sandstrom from AHL Rochester to occupy the backup role because Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed) is unavailable. Columbus is tied for eighth in the league with 3.26 goals per game in 2024-25 but will be without integral offensive contributors Zach Werenski (undisclosed), Kirill Marchenko (jaw), Sean Monahan (wrist) and Yegor Chinakhov (upper body).

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Unavailable Tuesday

Luukkonen (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Tuesday's home game against Columbus, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.

Luukkonen is dealing with a minor injury, meaning there's a chance he could return in Saturday's road matchup versus Nashville. Buffalo placed Mattias Samuelsson (lower body) on injured reserve to recall Felix Sandstrom from AHL Rochester on Tuesday. Due to Luukkonen's absence, Sandstrom will be James Reimer's backup against the Blue Jackets.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Between pipes versus Ducks

Oettinger will tend the twine on the road versus Anaheim on Tuesday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Oettinger will look to extend his three-game winning streak, during which he has registered a 2.99 GAA and .885 save percentage. With a back-to-back on the schedule before the break, Oettinger figures to split Saturday and Sunday's matchups against the Kings and Sharks, respectively, with Casey DeSmith.
