Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Downed by Jackets in OT
Kuemper made 21 saves in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
While Kirill Marchenko's OT winner denied Kuemper the win, the veteran netminder still put together another strong performance. He's allowed more than three goals in an outing only once all season, and that came way back on Oct. 14. Since returning from an undisclosed injury in early December, Kuemper's gone 10-2-3 in 15 starts with a stellar 1.73 GAA and .934 save percentage.

Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Earns overtime win Saturday
Allen stopped 29 of 32 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.
Allen has won back-to-back appearances for the first time since recording wins Nov. 14 and Nov. 23 against the Panthers and Capitals, respectively. The 34-year-old has started in three of New Jersey's last four games, going 2-1-0 with a 1.89 GAA and a .923 save percentage in that span. Three games is not enough to draw any long-term conclusions, but he seems to be overcoming the struggles he had earlier in the year. Expect Allen to remain New Jersey's top option between the pipes as long as Jacob Markstrom (knee) remains out, which will be the case until late February or early March at a minimum.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: First loss of NHL career Saturday
Dobes stopped 40 of 44 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Dobes had been a revelation early in his NHL career, as he had a perfect 5-0-0 record with a 1.55 GAA and a .941 save percentage over the first five outings of his career before losing Saturday. Even with the loss, Dobes earned his team a valuable standings point with his 40-save effort. The promising 23-year-old netminder is still behind Sam Montembeault on the depth chart, but Dobes' early success makes him a viable fantasy option whenever he's called to defend the Canadiens' crease.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Tending twine Sunday
Shesterkin will patrol the home crease against Colorado on Sunday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
Shesterkin has surrendered only four goals on 112 shots during his four-game winning streak. He has a 17-15-2 record with three shutouts, a 2.72 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 34 appearances this season. Colorado is tied for eighth in the league with 3.24 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost 3-1 to Boston on Saturday.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Torched for five goals
Saros gave up five goals on 35 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks.
Saros has gone 2-3-0 with 20 goals allowed over his last six games. The 29-year-old netminder was lucky to avoid the loss in his last outing Tuesday versus the Sharks, but he didn't see such fortune Saturday. For the season, he's 11-19-6 with a 2.88 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 37 games, which would be his worst ratios in any full-length season in his career. He hasn't been overworked lately either -- Justus Annunen hasn't had to wait more than three games for a start since he was dealt to the Predators. Saros is too talented for fantasy managers to drop, but it's getting tough to be patient with his poor performance.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Stellar in relief of injured Gibson
Dostal stopped 32 of 33 shots in relief of John Gibson (upper body) in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.
Gibson lasted just one period before Dostal took over. Dostal allowed the game-tying goal to Ryan O'Reilly at 5:07 of the second period, but the Ducks scored the last three goals to get the win, giving Dostal his second win over six outings in January. Gibson was starting for the second game in a row, something that's happened twice this month. Dostal is up to 12-13-4 with a 2.93 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 29 appearances. He'd take over as the No. 1 if Gibson is forced to miss time, so Dostal may be worth considering at least as a streaming option in favorable matchups.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Poor showing in relief
Askarov stopped 14 of 17 shots in relief of Alexandar Georgiev in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Panthers.
Askarov will avoid taking a result from this game, but that's about the only positive. The Panthers eased up after a four-goal second period, but Askarov didn't do much better than Georgiev after entering the game early in the middle frame. He's winless over his last four outings, and Askarov has allowed 16 goals in that span. The 22-year-old remains at 3-5-2 through 11 appearances, but his GAA rose to 3.04, and his save percentage dropped to .898 due to Saturday's performance. The Sharks' next game is Monday at home versus the Penguins.

Alexandar Georgiev G | BUF
Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Chased by champs
Georgiev stopped 11 of 15 shots in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Panthers.
Georgiev exited the game after A.J. Greer's goal, which came early in the second period, but Yaroslav Askarov didn't stop the bleeding. Georgiev has lost four straight outings, allowing 17 goals on 119 shots in that ugly span. He's now 10-17-0 with a 3.65 GAA and an .876 save percentage through 30 appearances. The 28-year-old will have a tough time turning things around in San Jose, so he's best left off most fantasy rosters.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Wins again Saturday
Bobrovsky stopped 21 of 23 shots in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.
Bobrovsky won consecutive starts for the first time since Dec. 18 and 20. A trip to California and a couple of easier matchups looks to have been just what Bobrovsky needed to get back on track after giving up four goals in three straight starts from Jan. 11 to 16. The 36-year-old netminder is now 20-11-2 with a 2.80 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 33 starts. His recent struggles opened the door for Spencer Knight to earn a 50-50 split, and it'll likely be Knight who gets the nod Sunday in Vegas to close out a four-game road trip.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Unlucky loss Saturday
Lindgren stopped 23 of 25 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Canucks.
The Capitals altered their goaltending rotation to allow Logan Thompson to start Tuesday in his hometown of Calgary. That meant a second straight start for Lindgren, who played well but didn't get much help from his teammates in this narrow loss. Quinn Hughes had both of the goals for the Canucks. Lindgren slipped to 11-9-2 with a 2.51 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 23 appearances. Assuming the alternating pattern resumes next week, Lindgren should be penciled in to start in the road-trip finale at Ottawa on Thursday.
