  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Earns win Tuesday

Luukkonen stopped 25 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Luukkonen has avoided losses in regulation in his last five starts, a stretch in which he's gone 4-0-1 with an impressive 1.97 GAA and .933 save percentage. He has posted a record of 8-1-1 with a 2.29 GAA and a .922 save percentage since the Olympic break. He had been rotating contests with Alex Lyon, but that ended with Luukkonen's second consecutive start in Tuesday's matchup. Still, it wouldn't be surprising if Lyon continued to see playing time down the stretch.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Gives up three goals

Sorokin stopped 29 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres.

After winning two straight outings, Sorokin has dropped his last two starts. He has allowed three or more goals in four of his past eight appearances, going 3-5-0 with a 3.18 GAA and an .888 save percentage in that span. Sorokin has proven he's capable of dominating between the pipes, but the lack of consistency has been hurting fantasy managers. Still, he has plenty of upside as the Islanders battle for a playoff spot.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Set to start Wednesday

Blackwood is expected to be between the pipes at home against the Canucks on Wednesday, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports.

Blackwood has put up middling numbers of late, going 3-3-0 with a 3.13 GAA in his last eight outings. However, he has won three of his last four contests while allowing only eight goals on 86 shots. Despite some struggles, the Thunder Bay native continues to see the bulk of the workload ahead of Scott Wedgewood.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Hangs on for win Tuesday

Thompson made 20 saves in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Flyers.

The Capitals never trailed in the game, but Thompson had to weather multiple rallies by the visitors to secure the victory. The 29-year-old netminder has won three straight starts and has only one regulation loss in his last eight, a stretch in which he's gone 5-1-2 with a 2.58 GAA and .914 save percentage.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Crumbles against Caps

Vladar turned aside 12 of 17 shots in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Capitals, with Washington's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The 28-year-old netminder was beaten twice on just five shots in the first period alone, as the Flyers never held a lead in a crucial game for their playoff chances. Vladar has hit a rocky patch at the worst possible time, going 4-3-1 over his last eight starts with a 2.97 GAA and .889 save percentage.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Sharp again in Tuesday's win

Shesterkin stopped 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

A Connor Brown power-play goal early in the second period spoiled Shesterkin's shutout bid. However, Shesterkin got some revenge with the win and a decisive victory over Jacob Markstrom in a goalie fight during the final frame. Shesterkin showed flickers of his peak form in March despite the struggles of the team around him, going 6-4-1 in 11 starts with a 2.75 GAA and .909 save percentage.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Loses twice Tuesday

Markstrom made 18 saves in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.

Not only did Markstrom get stuck with his 18th loss of the season, but he also came out on the wrong end of a goalie fight when he skated the length of the ice to take on Igor Shesterkin midway through the third period. Markstrom puts a bumpy March behind him in which he went 6-4-0 in 10 starts despite a 3.09 GAA and .870 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Yields three goals in win

Tarasov turned aside 23 of 26 shots on net in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Senators.

Tarasov played his part in Tuesday's big win, as he kept the Senators off the scoreboard in the first period while the Panthers tallied five goals. With the win, the 27-year-old netminder now has a 10-14-2 record, a 3.09 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 27 appearances this season. The win was his first since March 10 and was an overall step in the right direction. He should continue to split starts with Sergei Bobrovsky, but Tarasov remains a risky option for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Senators' James Reimer: Solid in relief effort

Reimer stopped 12 of 13 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to Florida.

Reimer entered the contest in the back half of the first period after Linus Ullmark gave up five goals. Reimer put together a solid outing, as he allowed just one twine finder to Florida's Matthew Tkachuk. Overall, Reimer has a 6-4-1 record, a 2.42 GAA and an .883 save percentage through 12 outings with the Senators this season. Outside of his loss to the Lightning on Saturday, the 38-year-old netminder has done well over his last six appearances, posting a 4-1-0 record, a 1.58 GAA and a .911 save percentage. While starts have been rare for him lately, Reimer could see more action down the stretch if Ullmark continues to struggle.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Gets the hook Tuesday

Ullmark stopped 11 of 16 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Panthers.

Ullmark struggled in Tuesday's clash before being replaced by James Reimer, allowing two goals in the first 66 seconds of the opening period and five tallies by the 14:36 mark. The Senators committed three penalties within the first seven and a half minutes, resulting in two of Florida's first three goals being on the power play. With Tuesday's loss, the 32-year-old Ullmark has a 23-11-8 record, a 2.85 GAA and an .886 save percentage across 43 appearances this season. Prior to Tuesday's struggles, he had brought stability to the Senators' crease with a 7-2-3 record, a 2.49 GAA and a .901 save percentage across 12 outings. His next opportunity to bounce back could be Thursday against the Sabres, which is in the first game of Ottawa's five-game homestand.
