  • Senators' Lassi Thomson: Called up from AHL

Thomson was summoned from AHL Belleville on Saturday.

The Senators are hurting on the blue line with Jake Sanderson out of action with an upper-body injury and Nick Jensen out with a lower-body injury. Thomson has spent the entire season with AHL Belleville, tallying 14 goals and 11 assists across 55 games. If Jensen is unable to play, Thomson could make his first NHL appearance since the 2022-23 campaign, likely replacing Dennis Gilbert on the third pairing.

  • Lightning's Conor Geekie: Returned to minors

Geekie was loaned to AHL Syracuse on Saturday.

Geekie has contributed two assists, eight shots on goal, six blocked shots and 31 hits in 11 NHL appearances this season. He also has 14 goals and 51 points in 47 AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • John Leonard LW | DET

Red Wings' John Leonard: Summoned from AHL

Leonard was recalled from AHL Grand Rapids on Saturday under emergency conditions.

Leonard will give the Red Wings some forward depth ahead of Saturday's clash against Dallas. He has two goals and four points in nine NHL games this season. He leads the Griffins with 27 goals and 41 points in 34 AHL outings.

  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: Pots pair for Spokane

Martin scored twice on five shots in WHL Spokane's 4-0 win over Seattle on Friday.

Martin's surge in February ended when the calendar flipped to March -- he had logged just two points over the previous four games. The Jets prospect has made a decent impression with his recent play, though he's still at a relatively modest 24 goals and 51 points through 61 appearances this season. Spokane is likely to make the WHL playoffs but probably won't go on a run, so the 18-year-old likely has just a few more weeks to add to his numbers.

  • Sharks' Joshua Ravensbergen: Shutout in close WHL win

Ravensbergen posted a 16-save shutout in WHL Prince George's 1-0 win over Wenatchee on Friday.

Ravensbergen logged the 10th shutout of his WHL career and his fourth this season. He's up to 30-13-0 with a 2.52 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 44 appearances. Ravensbergen is a Michigan State University commit for 2026-27, and it's clear he has little left to prove in the junior hockey ranks.

  • Oilers' Kasperi Kapanen: Tallies opening goal

Kapanen scored a goal in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues.

Kapanen got some revenge against his former team, opening the scoring at 15:41 of the second period. The 29-year-old has two goals and an assist over his last four contests as he continues to provide decent offense in a middle-six role. He's up to seven goals, 15 points, 49 shots on net, 52 hits and a plus-7 rating over 26 appearances this season, which has been interrupted by injuries.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Lights lamp Friday

McDavid scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues.

McDavid saw an eight-game, 15-point streak snapped in Dallas on Thursday. He put the Oilers up 2-0 with his tally midway through the third period Friday, but it ultimately wasn't enough. The superstar center is still leading the NHL with 111 points (37 goals, 74 assists) while adding 245 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 67 outings. McDavid is in position to challenge for 130-plus points given his pace this season.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Slips up late

Ingram allowed three goals on 25 shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues.

Ingram wasn't able to maintain a 2-0 lead over the last 10 minutes of regulation. The collapse continued when Robert Thomas scored at 4:51 of overtime to send the Oilers to a defeat. Ingram has allowed 16 goals on 123 shots (.870 save percentage) over his last five appearances. He has a 9-6-2 record with a 2.79 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 20 contests this season. Ingram and Tristan Jarry will continue to battle for playing time, though with no back-to-back sets over the next week, a clear starter could emerge. The Oilers' next game is Sunday at home versus the Predators.

  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Pockets helper Friday

Sundqvist produced an assist in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over the Oilers.

Sundqvist had been a scratch for the previous two games after going without a point over four contests following his return from an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old forward continues to fill a bottom-six role, so his chances on offense are likely to remain limited. Sundqvist is at 15 points, 36 shots on net, 59 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-17 rating through 48 appearances.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Blues' Pius Suter: Sparks comeback Friday

Suter scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over the Oilers.

Suter got the Blues on the board at 12:22 of the third period, cutting the Oilers' advantage to 2-1 at the time. The 29-year-old has scored twice over his last four contests. He continues to fill a middle-six role as a reliable all-around forward. For the season, Suter has 10 goals, 21 points, 78 shots on net, 33 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 49 outings.
