Tarasov has a 2-1-1 record, 1.74 GAA and .927 save percentage in six outings in 2026-27. He stopped 12 of 13 shots en route to a 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay in a relief appearance Tuesday. Vegas has a 10-5-2 record and has averaged 3.35 goals per game this season.

Yamamoto (upper body) won't play Thursday versus the Canadiens.

Yamamoto will miss his third straight game to begin November. His next chance to play is Saturday in Ottawa. Liam O'Brien is filling a bottom-six role in place of Yamamoto.

Hart will guard the road goal versus the Red Wings on Thursday.

Hart will be looking to snap a three-game skid. He's allowed 10 goals on 68 shots in that span, posting a 0-2-1 record. The Red Wings have split their last four games (2-2-0) while scoring 15 goals during the stretch.

Vasilevskiy is expected to start at home against Chicago on Thursday, per Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley.

Vasilevskiy has a 7-3-1 record, 2.91 GAA and .879 save percentage in 11 appearances with Tampa Bay in 2026-27. He stopped 19 of 21 shots en route to a 4-2 victory over Detroit in his last start Tuesday. Chicago is 4-11-1 and has averaged just 2.25 goals per game this season.

Soderblom will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Thursday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Soderblom is still looking for his first win of the season. He's allowed 14 goals on 82 shots over three appearances so far, and he'll be working the second half of a back-to-back against a tough opponent Thursday.

Poitras (nose) won't play Thursday in Pittsburgh, per Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe.

Poitras has four goals and seven points in 12 appearances with Boston in 2026-27. Sean Kuraly is set to draw into the lineup Thursday due to Poitras' absence.

DiPietro has been effective over limited action early in the 2026-27 campaign, going 3-1-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .929 save percentage across four appearances to begin the regular season. He'll draw the start for the second time in the last three games. The Penguins have logged 3.20 goals per game this year, which ranks 16th in the NHL.

Bussi will start Thursday's road game against the Islanders, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Bussi hasn't appeared in any of the Hurricanes' last five games, but he'll be back in the crease in a favorable matchup Thursday, as the Islanders have generated just 2.79 goals per game this year, which is the seventh-worst mark in the league. Across his six appearances to begin the regular season, Bussi has gone 2-2-2 with a 3.27 GAA and .865 save percentage.

Hall (upper body) is expected to be a game-time decision Thursday versus the Islanders, per Brian Compton of NHL.com.

Hall hasn't played since Oct. 13 because of the injury. He has three goals and five points in eight appearances in 2026-27. Hall will likely serve in a middle-six capacity if he's ready to play, which might result in Nicolas Deslauriers being a healthy scratch.

Brossoit is slated to start on the road against Edmonton on Thursday, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune.

Brossoit has won his two starts this campaign, but he stopped just 38 of 45 shots (.844 save percentage) over that stretch. It will be difficult for him to do better against the Oilers, who are tied for first in goals per game with 4.13. In particular, Connor McDavid has made life difficult for goaltenders with his season-opening 16-game scoring streak that's resulted in him recording nine goals and 40 points in 2026-27.
