With the tally, LaCombe extended his season-opening point streak to five games. He has a goal, four assists, four shots on net, four hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-1 rating so far this year. It wasn't all sunshine for LaCombe in this contest -- he was briefly benched during the game. Still, he's the Ducks' most reliable defenseman for fantasy, and he's already delivering on offense.

Husso stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Husso got the easier matchup in the second half of a back-to-back for the Ducks, and he got the job done. The 31-year-old netminder probably won't see a lot of work behind Lukas Dostal, but Husso is worth streaming when he gets the nod in favorable matchups. He went 10-8-2 with a 3.25 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 20 regular-season outings in 2025-26, though the Ducks' young defense appears to have taken a step forward early this season. Expect Dostal between the pipes for Tuesday's rematch against the Flames in Anaheim.

Seguin scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Penguins.

Seguin scored with 30 seconds left in the third period, tying the game to salvage a standings point. The goal was his first point of the season, to go with 11 shots on net, one hit, one blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over five contests. Seguin is coming back from a torn ACL that ended his 2025-26 campaign in early December. He's filling a middle-six role for the Stars early in the campaign, but it wouldn't be surprising if he still needs to shake off some rust given the lengthy recovery process of his most recent injury.

Oettinger stopped 19 of 20 shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Penguins.

Oettinger's bid for a third straight shutout was broken up by Connor Dewar in the third period. The 27-year-old Oettinger still put in another strong outing, proving he's been well worth the early-round pick fantasy managers needed to select him this year. Over four starts, Oettinger is 2-1-1 with three goals allowed on 81 shots. The Stars' defense has been stingy, which will make it tough to maintain a high save percentage, but he's in a great spot for picking up wins as well as seeing plenty of starts. Expect Oettinger and Casey DeSmith to split the upcoming home-and-home set versus the Avalanche, which begins Tuesday in Dallas before shifting to Denver on Wednesday.

Silovs stopped 24 of 25 shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Stars.

Silovs got the nod in the second half of a back-to-back and held his ground in a close game. The 25-year-old netminder has won three of his four outings this season, but he's been all over the map in terms of performance. He's allowed 11 goals on 96 shots, but 10 of those tallies against have come in just two of the starts. Sergei Murashov has provided more predictable work so far, but both goalies will get their fair share of playing time this year. The Penguins are set for a three-game road trip over the next week, which begins in Chicago on Tuesday. It also features a back-to-back in Colorado on Friday and in Vegas on Saturday, which will allow both goalies to get work.

Schaefer picked up an assist Saturday in a 5-3 loss to the Lightning.

Initially, Schaefer was credited with a goal that would have tied him with Bobby Orr for goals by a defender under 20, but the goal was given to Jean-Gabriel Pageau after a review. Schaefer has 23; Orr had 24. The former turned 19 in early September, so the record will be shattered this season. Who knew?

Dewar scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Stars.

Dewar opened the scoring at 1:57 of the third period for his first point of the campaign. The 27-year-old has filled a steady fourth-line role to open 2026-27, providing some physicality from that spot. Over six games, he's supplied eight shots on net, 10 hits, four blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. Dewar is unlikely to repeat his 30-point effort from 78 regular-season games a year ago, and his fantasy value is limited to deep banger leagues.

Poehling sustained an apparent lower-body injury in Saturday's game versus the Flames and didn't finish the contest.

Poehling was coming in on a shorthanded rush and buried his shot as he got clipped. As he fell, he went legs first into the goalpost. The 27-year-old had a goal and an assist in the contest, giving him his first points through five outings this season. An update on his status should be provided prior to Tuesday's rematch versus the Flames in Anaheim.

Sillinger scored a goal, added two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blues.

Sillinger tallied for the second time in four games this season. He's added two assists, eight shots on net, six hits and a plus-2 rating. The 23-year-old forward is filling a middle-six role on a checking line with Charlie Coyle and Mathieu Olivier, which has often looked like Columbus' most consistent trio so far. If this is a breakout year in the making, Sillinger looks to be a good speculative addition to fantasy rosters while his offense is hot.

DeAngelo scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Lightning.

The points were his first this season. DeAngelo is averaging 16:40 so far, and his 16:33 was fifth among Isles' defenders on Saturday. Sheltered minutes 5v5 plus second-unit deployment on the power play means DeAngelo will deliver decent lower-risk production for fantasy managers.
