Miller (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

Following a five-game absence, Miller appears ready to return to the lineup against Minnesota on Saturday. He will probably occupy a middle-six role and see time on the power play. Miller has accounted for 14 goals, 38 points, 110 shots on net and 104 hits across 51 appearances this season.

  • David Kampf C | WAS

Capitals' David Kampf: Still not eligible to play

Kampf (not injury related) will remain out of the lineup Saturday versus Boston, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Kampf has still not received his work visa and will miss his fifth straight game since he was dealt from Vancouver on March 6. The grinder had two goals and four assists in 38 games with the Canucks prior to his trade.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: In goal Saturday

Thompson will patrol the home crease against Boston on Saturday, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Thompson has one win in his last four outings (1-3-0) while allowing 11 goals on 99 shots. However, he has gone 22-19-4 this campaign with two shutouts, a 2.44 GAA and a .911 save percentage through 45 appearances. Boston sits 11th in the league with 3.29 goals per game this season.

Sabres' Alex Lyon: In goal Saturday

Lyon will guard the home goal against Toronto on Saturday, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.

Lyon has gone 18-8-3 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.65 GAA and a .913 save percentage across 31 appearances this season. The Maple Leafs will be missing their star center Auston Matthews, who is gone for the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Toronto is averaging 3.15 goals per game this season, good for 15th in the NHL.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Ducks' John Carlson: Not playing Saturday

Carlson (lower body) won't play against Ottawa on Saturday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Carlson will miss his 10th straight game due to an injury he sustained before the Olympic break. However, he is close to returning to action and could be an option for Sunday's contest against Montreal. Carlson has 10 goals, 46 points, 115 shots on net and 84 blocked shots in 55 appearances this season.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

    Ducks' Ville Husso: Facing Senators

Husso will be between the visiting pipes against Ottawa on Saturday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Husso is 7-6-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 14 appearances this season. He has seen action in six of the last 27 games for the Ducks, as the team has leaned heavily on No. 1 netminder Lukas Dostal. The Senators are generating 3.33 goals per game in the 2025-26 campaign, which ranks ninth in the league.

He has posted a 19-17-3 record this season with a 3.56 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 40 appearances. • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Back in action for Sunday

Lundell (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Sunday against Seattle, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Lundell missed Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over Columbus due to an injury. The talented center has seen a big increase in his time on ice, going from averaging 16:43 in the 2024-25 regular season to 19:10 this campaign. Most of that has to do with the season-ending injury Aleksander Barkov (knee) suffered in training camp, but it also helps that at the age of 24, Lundell is maturing with an increased role. He has 17 goals and 43 points in 2025-26 and is just two points away from tying his career high in points.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Returning for Sunday

Verhaeghe (undisclosed) will be back in the lineup Sunday in Seattle, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Verhaeghe sat out Thursday's game versus Columbus. Verhaeghe has 19 goals, 27 assists, 150 shots on net and 56 hits in 63 outings this season. He is expected to play alongside Evan Rodrigues and Mackie Samoskevich on the second line as well as seeing first power-play time in Seattle.
