Kempe (undisclosed) is slated to play Wednesday versus the Sharks, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kempe missed Saturday's game against the Sabres, but he will return to a top-line role and should also be involved on the power play in Wednesday's matchup versus the Sharks. Kempe went five games without a goal prior to his absence, logging just two assists in that span.

Douglas (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site.

Douglas was listed as day-to-day as of Tuesday, but he is now out for the remainder of the week. He'll be eligible to return ahead of Thursday's NHL Global Series contest versus the Hurricanes, one of two games between the two teams in Finland. Douglas' presence or absence on the international trip will indicate if he is set for a longer absence.

Greig, who was a late scratch Wednesday versus the Sabres, is out due to an undisclosed injury, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Greig was not on the ice for warmups. There is an illness in the Senators' locker room, but the initial report indicates Greig is hurt, not sick. The 24-year-old can be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's home contest against the Mammoth.

Othmann (upper body) won't play Wednesday versus the Kraken, Derek Wills of QR Calgary 770 AM reports.

Wills reports the Flames will use the same lineup from Monday's 2-1 win over the Sharks. That means Othmann will miss a fourth straight game, though he is considered day-to-day. It is unclear if he'll be ready for Friday's game versus the Ducks.

The Red Wings placed Johansson (undisclosed) on injured reserve Wednesday, retroactive to Oct. 24.

Johansson has missed the last five games due to his unspecified injury, so his placement on injured reserve is procedural, and he'll be eligible to be activated at any point. It's not yet clear when the 25-year-old will be able to return to action.

Postava was recalled from AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday under emergency conditions.

Postava spent time with the Red Wings in late October, and he went 1-0-0 with a 2.89 GAA and .886 save percentage during that stint with the NHL club. He'll rejoin Detroit to provide additional goaltending depth after John Gibson (lower body) exited Tuesday's game against the Lightning after the first period.

Morrissey (wrist) won't play Thursday versus Vancouver, but he hasn't been ruled out for Sunday against Tampa Bay, per Danielle Bain of TSN.

Morrissey hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 7, but he does seem to be getting close to returning. He has three assists, one hit and five blocks in four appearances in 2026-27. Morrissey should serve in a top-four capacity once he's ready to return.

Demidov (foot) skated Tuesday and could resume training with the team next week, Patrick Friolet of RDS reports.

Demidov has been on injured reserve since Oct. 6, and he initially received a return timetable of 2-4 weeks. He's now at the end of that estimate, and while it's encouraging to see him skating on his own, he's still in a walking boot, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet. Demidov appears likely to miss at least a few more games, but another step in his recovery will occur once he's officially cleared to practice with his teammates.

Timmins (lower body) is expected to be available for Wednesday's game against Ottawa, coach Lindy Ruff told Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.

Although Ruff has declared that Timmins is ready, the 28-year-old defenseman is expected to be a healthy scratch Wednesday, according to Bill Hoppe of the Buffalo Hockey Beat. Timmins has been activated from injured reserve, per the NHL media site. It's unclear when he will make his 2026-27 debut, but he will be an option moving forward. He recorded eight assists in 39 regular-season appearances with Buffalo last year.

Hajek was reassigned to AHL San Jose on Wednesday.

Hajek has a goal, two points and seven PIM in eight appearances with AHL San Jose in 2026-27. He hasn't played for the NHL squad yet this season.
