Cam York D | PHI
Flyers' Cam York: Not playing Sunday
York (upper body) is not available for Sunday's home divisional matchup against the Hurricanes, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
York didn't suit up Saturday in Boston and is considered day-to-day, so his upper-body injury seemingly isn't too serious. Oliver Bonk is set to make his 2026-27 season debut due to York's absence. The 25-year-old York's next chance to get back into the lineup will be at home versus Seattle on Tuesday.

The veteran center has been held off the scoresheet through six games this season while doling out 19 hits. Mark Jankowski will presumably slot into the third-line center role Sunday, while Nicolas Deslauriers is set to draw into the lineup after serving as a healthy scratch in the previous four games. Carolina's next game is at home against Washington on Tuesday.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Requires surgery
Shesterkin will require surgery and a lengthy rehab process to address his season-ending right knee injury, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports Sunday.
Shesterkin was hurt during Friday's game against the Capitals when his right leg got jammed into the post while returning to the crease on a scrambled play, and the Rangers ruled him out for the season a day later. He was placed on injured reserve Sunday, and the team has now provided some clarification on the exact nature of his injury. Dylan Garand is slated to serve as the Rangers' No. 1 option in the crease until Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) is back in action.
