Bryan Rust RW | PIT
Penguins' Bryan Rust: Set for hearing with league
Rust will have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety, the NHL announced Monday.
At this point, Rust should be expected to miss at least one game while suspended by DoPS. Assuming the winger is out against the Blackhawks on Thursday, Kevin Hayes will likely come back into the lineup, but Rust's impending suspension will likely scramble up the Penguins' lines.

William Nylander RW | TOR
Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Hopes to return during road trip
Nylander (groin) said Monday that he hopes to return at some point during the Maple Leafs' upcoming four-game road trip, which begins Thursday in Seattle, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.
Following Tuesday's home game against the Sabres, the Maple Leafs will be on the road for each of their four matchups leading up to the Olympic break, so Nylander is hopeful that he'll be back in action at some point over the next week. He's been sidelined since mid-January due to his groin injury but has progressed in his recovery recently, as he skated ahead of Saturday's practice session.

Joel Edmundson D | LA
Kings' Joel Edmundson: Managing upper-body issue
Edmundson is considered day-to-day due to an upper-body injury, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports Monday.
Edmundson hasn't yet missed a game this season, but he didn't practice with the Kings ahead of Monday's scheduled matchup against the Blue Jackets that was postponed due to severe winter weather in the Columbus area. Whether he'll be available for Tuesday's game in Detroit remains to be seen, but Kenny Connors will be recalled from AHL Ontario since Edmundson and Alex Turcotte are both considered day-to-day due to upper-body injuries.

Alex Turcotte C | LA
Kings' Alex Turcotte: Dealing with upper-body injury
Turcotte is considered day-to-day due to an upper-body injury, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports Monday.
Turcotte didn't practice with the Kings ahead of Monday's scheduled matchup against the Blue Jackets that was ultimately postponed due to severe winter weather in the Columbus area. While it's not yet clear whether Turcotte will be available for Tuesday's game against Detroit, Kenny Connors will be recalled from AHL Ontario since Turcotte and Joel Edmundson are both day-to-day due to upper-body issues.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Set to return Tuesday
Teravainen (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup against Minnesota on Tuesday, according to Scott Powers of The Athletic.
Following a six-game absence, Teravainen will return to a top-line role and a spot on the first power-play combination against the Wild on Tuesday. He has contributed nine goals, 21 points, 54 shots on net and 27 blocked shots across 45 appearances this season.

Lawson Crouse LW | UTA
Mammoth's Lawson Crouse: Good to go for Monday
Crouse (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Lightning, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.
Crouse missed Saturday's matchup against the Predators due to an illness, but he'll be back in action following a one-game absence. Kailer Yamamoto will remain in the lineup following his two-point performance against Nashville, so Liam O'Brien will likely sit out Monday, while Crouse skated on the top line during Utah's morning skate. Over 10 appearances since the start of the calendar year, Crouse has logged four goals, six assists, 30 hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-16 rating while averaging 18:20 of ice time.

Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Expected to miss 6-8 weeks
Head coach John Hynes said Monday that Brodin (lower body) is expected to miss approximately 6-8 weeks, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Brodin had already been ruled out through the Olympic break, and it was previously reported that he wouldn't suit up for Sweden in the tournament. However, his updated timetable suggests that he could also be sidelined for several games after the Wild resume play. A better idea of his status could come into focus in late February, but it's possible that Brodin will be unavailable until at least early March.

Nikita Zadorov D | BOS
Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Game-time decision
Zadorov (ankle) will be a game-time call against the Rangers on Monday, per Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site.
Zadorov temporarily left Saturday's 4-3 win over Montreal, but he came back to play in the third period. He has produced one goal, 16 assists, 63 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 130 hits and 121 PIM across 52 appearances this season. If Zadorov is unavailable to play, Henri Jokiharju will probably be in the lineup against the Rangers on Monday.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Patrolling crease versus Vegas
Dobes will be in goal against Vegas at home Tuesday.
Dobes is undefeated in regulation over his last six appearances, posting a 5-0-1 record, but has played in just six of the Canadiens' last 21 contests. Still, with Jacob Fowler having been sent back to AHL Laval, the 24-year-old Dobes should see an increased workload behind Sam Montembeault.

John Gibson G | DET

Gibson has won his last eight outings while stopping 210 of the 224 shots he has faced. He has a 21-9-1 record this campaign with a 2.62 GAA, a .906 save percentage and three shutouts through 32 appearances. Los Angeles is tied for 28th in the league with 2.60 goals per game this season.
