Tom Wilson RW | WAS
Capitals' Tom Wilson: Contributes pair of helpers
Wilson logged two assists, two blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Wilson has four helpers, six hits, four shots on net and 12 PIM over three games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 31-year-old winger is up to 46 points (11 on the power play), 101 shots on net, 116 hits, 71 PIM and a plus-22 rating through 44 contests this season. Wilson continues to be a key forward in all situations for the Capitals, and his career high of 65 points from 81 regular-season games last year looks to be in reach.

Anthony Beauvillier LW | WAS
Capitals' Anthony Beauvillier: Deposits goal in overtime loss
Beauvillier scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Beauvillier snapped a seven-game goal drought, a span in which he was held to one assist, when he scored at 14:29 of the second period. The 28-year-old winger has been listed on the fourth line in recent games, but he's seeing ice time more in line with that of a third-liner. Beauvillier is at 10 goals, seven assists, 115 shots on net, 67 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 53 outings this season.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Goals in consecutive games
Protas scored a goal on four shots and went minus-3 in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Protas looks to be getting his game back after a three-game absence due to a lower-body injury early in January. He's scored in back-to-back games and has three points over his last five outings. The 25-year-old forward is up to 18 goals, 34 points, 112 shots on net and a plus-15 rating through 50 contests this season. While well off the pace of his 66-point campaign from 76 regular-season games last year, Protas is lighting the lamp at almost the same rate that netted him 30 goals in 2024-25 and is still a key forward for the Capitals.

Dylan Strome C | WAS
Capitals' Dylan Strome: Nets power-play tally
Strome scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Strome has three goals and three assists during his four-game point streak. Four of his six points in that span have come on the power play. The 28-year-old center is up to 14 goals, 42 points (15 on the power play), 101 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 51 appearances.

Connor McMichael C | WAS
Capitals' Connor McMichael: Two-point effort Saturday
McMichael scored a goal on five shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
McMichael's goal put the Capitals ahead 5-4 with 4:51 left in the third period, but the lead didn't last. That tally secured his first multi-point effort since Jan. 9 versus the Blackhawks, and it ended a five-game point drought. Through 53 contests, McMichael has eight goals, 30 points, 104 shots on net, 27 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating. He's still shooting just 7.7 percent, so there's some room for increased production if his luck turns around.

Justin Sourdif RW | WAS
Capitals' Justin Sourdif: Picks up two points
Sourdif scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Sourdif has two goals and three helpers over his last three outings. The 23-year-old forward is cruising in a second-line role, and he's doing enough to get the attention of fantasy managers. For the season, Sourdif has 11 goals, 24 points, 68 shots on net, 59 hits, 19 PIM and a plus-14 rating over 49 appearances. He isn't currently a major factor on the power play, but the rest of his production can give most virtual rosters a boost.
-
Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Can't hold Oilers back
Lindgren stopped 34 of 40 shots in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Lindgren actually had a better game than the numbers suggest, but the Oilers' top players were in top form Saturday. The Capitals weren't able to build more than a one-goal lead at any point, and three of those slipped away in the third period before Connor McDavid won it in overtime for Edmonton. Lindgren has allowed 14 goals on 105 shots during his three-game losing streak (0-2-1). He's at a 7-6-3 record with a 3.41 GAA and an .885 save percentage through 17 appearances this season. Logan Thompson is likely to be back between the pipes Tuesday in Seattle.

Trent Frederic C | EDM
Oilers' Trent Frederic: Struggling on offense
Frederic is in a 22-game point drought after failing to get on the scoresheet in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Capitals.
The Oilers have tried just about everything to get Frederic going -- he's been scratched twice during the slump and has also seen occasional top-six minutes -- but it hasn't worked. The 27-year-old has a pitiful three points, 44 shots on net, 124 hits, 37 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 51 appearances. Frederic's eight-year contract with a $3.85 million cap hit is already aging like milk, though he brings some toughness even in a fourth-line role.
-
Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Crosses 600-assist mark in career
Draisaitl provided three assists, four shots on goal, two PIM, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Capitals.
Draisaitl logged the 600th assist of his career on an Evan Bouchard goal in the second period. Draisaitl didn't stop there, helping out Bouchard again in the third and Connor McDavid in overtime. Through nine outings in January, Draisaitl has five goals and eight assists. He's up to 25 goals, 45 helpers, 144 shots on net, 24 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 50 appearances this season.
-
Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Two-point game in high-scoring win
Hyman scored a goal on six shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Capitals.
Hyman's 20th goal of the season was clutch, tying the game at 5-5 with 32 seconds left in the third period. The winger has seven goals and three assists over his last eight outings. For the season, Hyman has accumulated 33 points (11 on the power play), 109 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-10 rating through 34 appearances.
