Carson Lambos D | MIN
Wild's Carson Lambos: Reassigned to minors
Lambos was shipped down to AHL Iowa on Friday, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Lambos served as a healthy scratch versus the Jets on Thursday, so this move is likely just to keep him playing games rather than sitting in the press box. In a corresponding move, David Jiricek was promoted to the NHL roster. With AHL Iowa this year, the 23-year-old Lambos has generated three goals and five assists while posting a minus-7 rating.

Corey Perry RW | TB
Kings' Corey Perry: Remains away from team
Perry (personal) has yet to rejoin the team ahead of Friday's clash with Anaheim, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
At this point, Perry should probably be considered out indefinitely until the team provides an update regarding his return to the squad. With Anze Kopitar (lower body) and Trevor Moore (upper body) still sidelined, Taylor Ward and Andre Lee could get extended looks in fourth-line roles.

Nicolas Aube-Kubel RW | MIN
Wild's Nicolas Aube-Kubel: Up from minors
Aube-Kubel was called up from AHL Iowa on Friday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Hunter Haight was also summoned from the minors Friday, while Matt Boldy (undisclosed) and Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) were placed on injured reserve. Aube-Kubel has seven goals and 17 points in 31 appearances with Iowa in 2025-26. He also has an assist in four games with Minnesota this season.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: On injured reserve
Eriksson Ek (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Matt Boldy (undisclosed) was also put on IR, while Hunter Haight and Nicolas Aube-Kubel have been summoned from the minors. Eriksson Ek hasn't played since Jan. 8, so his placement can be retroactive to that date, which would enable Minnesota to activate him whenever he's healthy. Still, the Wild presumably wouldn't have put Eriksson Ek on IR unless he was expected to miss at least one more game, so look for him to remain on the shelf Saturday versus Buffalo. He has 11 goals and 32 points in 45 appearances in 2025-26.

Matt Boldy LW | MIN
Wild's Matt Boldy: Designated for injured reserve
Boldy was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Friday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Boldy has racked up 12 goals and 10 assists in his 22 games since the start of December. With the winger on the shelf, Vladimir Tarasenko will likely move into a top-six role, though Yakov Trenin could also be in the mix. Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) was also placed on injured reserve Friday, stretching the Wild's forward group.

Hunter Haight C | MIN
Wild's Hunter Haight: Recalled by Minnesota
Haight was recalled from AHL Iowa on Friday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Haight was sent to the minors in mid-December, but he'll rejoin the NHL club a month later to provide additional depth after Matt Boldy (undisclosed) and Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) were placed on injured reserve Friday. Haight has appeared in just two games for Minnesota this year, recording no points, two hits and a minus-2 rating while averaging 9:22 of ice time.

William Nylander RW | TOR
Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Expected to miss Saturday's game
Nylander (lower body) isn't expected to play Saturday in Winnipeg, per Anna Dua of Sportsnet.
Nylander left Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to Vegas because of the injury. He also missed six games from Dec. 28 - Jan. 8 due a lower-body issue. Nylander is still being evaluated, so there's no timetable for his return yet. Calle Jarnkrok should have an opportunity to play regularly during Nylander's absence.

Connor Mackey D | NYR
Rangers' Connor Mackey: Recalled by Rangers
Mackey was recalled from AHL Hartford on Friday.
Mackey has had three brief stints with the Rangers this season, but he hasn't yet entered a game for the NHL club during the 2025-26 campaign. Carson Soucy (personal) won't be with the Rangers for Saturday's matchup in Philadelphia, so Mackey should provide additional depth. Over 32 appearances with Hartford this year, Mackey has recorded two goals, five assists and 54 PIM.

Carson Soucy D | NYI
Rangers' Carson Soucy: Attending to personal matter
Soucy will not join the Rangers for the start of their four-game road trip for personal reasons, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports Friday.
Soucy is expected to link up with the team at some point, but he won't be an option versus the Flyers on Saturday before the Rangers head west for a California swing. In order to bolster its blue line options, the club recalled Connor Mackey from AHL Hartford, though he is unlikely to get into the lineup ahead of Urho Vaakanainen.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Between pipes against Kings
Dostal will tend the twine on the road versus Los Angeles on Friday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Dostal has appeared in 13 of the Ducks' last 15 outings, despite posting a subpar 3-7-1 record and 3.71 GAA in that span. Even with the Czech netminder struggling to string together wins, it seems Anaheim will continue to give him a heavy workload while leaving Ville Husso on the bench.
