  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Status in question for Friday

Gostisbehere is considered a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Panthers due to an apparent illness, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.

Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said that Gostisbehere didn't feel good Wednesday, so the team kept him off the ice for Thursday's practice session, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Friday's matchup against Florida. Gostisbehere has recorded three points over his last five appearances, logging two goals, an assist, 10 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a hit while averaging 19:40 of ice time across that span.

  • Hurricanes' William Carrier: Game-time call for Friday

Carrier (lower body) will be a game-time decision versus Florida on Friday, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.

Carrier has missed the last two games. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Thursday that he is hopeful that the winger will return to the lineup Friday. Carrier had a goal in two of his last three games before the injury, giving him five goals, 10 points and 91 hits over 38 games this season.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Tallies on power play

Zegras scored a power-play goal on seven shots, added two PIM and went minus-3 in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Sabres.

Zegras had gone three games without a point, his longest slump of the season. The 24-year-old's downturn on offense is part of a larger trend of low-scoring play from the Flyers. Overall, Zegras has 18 goals, 42 points (14 on the power play), 102 shots on net and 34 PIM across 45 appearances. He remains firmly in a top-six role.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Scores in overtime loss

Larsson scored a goal on three shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils.

Larsson has two goals over his last four games after going 15 contests without scoring. The 33-year-old defenseman had two assists in that span, but the bulk of his work comes from his physical and defensive play. He's up to 11 points, 50 shots on net, 100 blocks, 64 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 45 outings on the Kraken's top pairing.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Devils' Cody Glass: Scores early Wednesday

Glass scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.

Glass has three goals over his last three games after a stretch in which he scored just once in 12 outings. The 26-year-old's role remains pretty steady as the third-line center, so there will be some hills and valleys in his production. For the season, he's at 10 goals, 12 points, 58 shots on net, 28 hits, 16 blocked shots and 21 PIM through 36 appearances.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to start Thursday

Ingram is slated to start Thursday's home game against the Islanders, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Ingram got the night off in the second half of a back-to-back set Tuesday against Nashville, but he'll return to the crease Thursday for the third time in the Oilers' last four games. Across his last three appearances, Ingram has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .930 save percentage.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Playing Thursday

Barron (upper body) will be in action versus the Wild on Thursday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Barron returns following three games on the shelf due to his upper-body injury. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old winger was stuck in a seven-game goal drought during which he generated 14 shots and two helpers. With Barron reclaiming a spot on the fourth line, youngster Danny Zhilkin will serve as a healthy scratch.

  • Adam Wilsby D | NSH

Predators' Adam Wilsby: Suffers lower-body injury

Wilsby is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports Thursday.

Wilsby is questionable for Friday's tilt in Colorado. The defenseman snapped a 10-game scoring drought Tuesday with an assist in a 4-3 loss in Edmonton. Wilsby has a goal and six assists in 36 games this season. If he is unable to play Friday, look for Nicolas Hague (illness) to possibly enter the lineup.

  • Sabres' Tage Thompson: Two power-play helpers Wednesday

Thompson collected two power-play assists in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

The 28-year-old center helped set up a pair of Rasmus Dahlin tallies, as Thompson extended his point streak to five games. Thompson hasn't gone back-to-back games without getting onto the scoresheet since early December, and over the last 17 contests he's racked up 10 goals and 22 points.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: In goal Thursday

Fowler will get the starting nod on the road against the Sabres on Thursday.

Fowler has featured in three of the Habs' last seven outings while the team continues to carry three netminders on the roster. In those appearances, the 21-year-old Fowler went 1-2-0 with a 2.08 GAA but won't offer much in terms of fantasy value moving forward if he can't secure more of the workload.
