  • Kevin Bahl D | CGY

Flames' Kevin Bahl: Not an option against Colorado

Bahl (lower body) will remain sidelined against the Avalanche on Tuesday, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Bahl is set to miss his fourth consecutive game Tuesday. The left-shot defenseman's last chance to return to the lineup in 2025-26 will be against the Kings on Thursday.

  • Panthers' Mackie Samoskevich: Gets another goal in win

Samoskevich scored a goal and blocked two shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Samoskevich has six goals and two assists over his last nine outings. The 23-year-old is up to 12 goals, 31 points, 161 shots on net, 136 hits and a minus-7 rating over 76 appearances. That matches his point total from 72 regular-season outings a year ago, though the lack of growth on offense is likely due to the Panthers' team-wide struggles. He's thrived in a more prominent role down the stretch as the team has been pummeled by injuries.

  • Matvei Gridin RW | CGY

    Flames' Matvei Gridin: Playing Tuesday

Gridin (illness) will be in action versus Colorado on Tuesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Gridin returns following a one-game absence due to an illness. In his last 17 contests, the 20-year-old forward has been producing offensively with three goals and nine helpers, including a trio of power-play assists. As a rookie, Gridin has logged 35 games for the Flames this year and figures to be a full-time NHL option in 2026-27.

  • Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Out for remainder of season

Kuznetsov (upper body) will miss the rest of the 2025-26 regular season, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan on Tuesday.

After sitting out Sunday's 4-1 win over Utah because of the injury, Kuznetsov won't play against the Avalanche and Kings on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively. He will conclude the 2025-26 campaign with four goals, 12 points, 64 shots on net, 103 blocked shots and 79 hits across 57 appearances.

  • Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Status in question for Wednesday

Hagel (lower body) is expected to be a game-time decision for Wednesday's regular-season finale versus the Rangers, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Hagel did not participate in Tuesday's practice. If the Canadiens lose to the Flyers on Tuesday, the Lightning might be even more inclined to keep Hagel out of the lineup until the postseason, as a regulation loss for the Habs in their regular-season finale would lock Tampa Bay into the No. 2 spot in the Atlantic Division. Corey Perry will probably move out of a top-six spot once Hagel returns to the lineup.

  • Flames' Matthew Coronato: Ruled out versus Avs

Coronato is dealing with an undisclosed injury and won't be available against Colorado on Tuesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Coronato was rolling offensively prior to getting hurt, riding a five-game point streak during which he notched one goal and four assists. With the winger on the shelf, Victor Olofsson figures to slot into a top-six role while Rory Kerins joins the lineup following his promotion from the minors.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Scores vs. Colorado

McDavid scored a goal in Monday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

McDavid's wrister in the second period was all the offense the Oilers could muster in this game. The star center has scored five goals over his last four appearances, and he's found the back of the net eight times in his last 11 appearances, tallying 19 points in total (11 goals, 8 assists) over that span.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Stops 30 shots in SO loss Monday

Ingram stopped 30 of 31 shots in Monday's shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Ingram might be ending the season on a sour note from a record perspective, as he's won just one of his last three starts, but he isn't the one to blame for that record. Ingram has posted a 1.48 GAA and an excellent .935 save percentage over that stretch, so he remains a strong fantasy option in most formats. The Oilers will play their final game of the regular season Thursday at home against Vancouver.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Makes 30 saves in SO win

Wedgewood stopped 30 of 31 shots in Monday's shootout win over the Oilers.

Wedgewood was beaten by a Connor McDavid wrister in the second period, but other than that, he was excellent between the pipes. Wedgewood has been one of the best goaltenders in the NHL in 2025-26 and is a big reason why the Avalanche will finish the regular season with the league's best record. He's also ending the campaign on a hot streak with five wins over his last six appearances, posting a 1.28 GAA and a .948 save percentage in that span.

  • Devils' Nico Daws: Starting in Boston

Daws will guard the road goal against the Bruins on Tuesday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Daws is coming off a 27-save effort in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over Ottawa. He has a 2-0-0 record in two NHL appearances this season, stopping 57 of 61 shots. Boston ranks 11th in the league during the 2025-26 campaign with 3.26 goals per game.
