Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Picks up shootout win
Daccord stopped 31 of 34 shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
The Kraken rallied from two goals down in the third period. Daccord stayed strong after that, and he turned aside four of the Golden Knights' five shootout attempts to secure the win, his first since March 15 versus the Panthers. The 29-year-old's poor end to the season has taken the Kraken out of realistic playoff contention, but they did a good job to still have an impact on the race. Daccord is now 20-20-6 with a 3.03 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 47 appearances. The Kraken's next game is Saturday versus the Flames.

Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Nine points in last 13 games
Krebs scored a goal and added four hits and a blocked shot Thursday in a 5-0 win over the Blue Jackets.
Krebs is now just one point from the 40-point mark this season -- that's a big jump from his previous career mark of 28 points, which he set last season. Krebs has been on a warming trend since mid-March. He has nine points (three goals, six assists), 16 shots and 35 hits in his last 13 games. Overall, Krebs has a career-high 194 hits this season.

Colten Ellis G | BUF
Sabres' Colten Ellis: First career NHL shutout
Ellis made 37 saves in a 5-0 win over Columbus on Thursday.
It was Ellis' first start and just his second appearance for Buffalo since Feb. 3, and he stepped up with his first career shutout. Ellis' 37 saves are tied for the third-most by a rookie netminder in a shutout in Sabres history. Linus Ullmark stopped 40 and Martin Biron made 39 saves. Ellis is slotted into the No. 2 spot behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in Buffalo since Alex Lyon is out for at least a week due to a lower-body injury.

Jack Quinn RW | BUF
Sabres' Jack Quinn: Hits 20 goals for first time
Quinn scored a goal Thursday in a 5-0 win over Columbus.
It was Quinn's 20th goal of the season, the first time he's hit that mark in the NHL. Quinn has 51 points to go along with 51 hits, 25 blocked shots and 18 PIM in 80 games this season, and he's a consistent presence on the Sabres' second line. Quinn's role during the 2025-26 campaign has increased compared to the previous season, and he has a promising future with Buffalo at just 24 years old.

Shakir Mukhamadullin D | SJ
Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Nets lone goal in loss
Mukhamadullin scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Ducks.
Mukhamadullin broke up Lukas Dostal's shutout bid at 12:40 of the third period. The tally ended a seven-game point drought for Mukhamadullin, who has played regularly in that stretch, though he was a healthy scratch Wednesday against the Oilers. The 24-year-old defenseman is at five goals, 12 points, 46 shots on net, 60 blocked shots, 29 hits and a minus-3 rating over 46 appearances this season. He's still adjusting to the NHL, but he should be in position to challenge for a full-time job in 2026-27.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Stumbles again Thursday
Askarov allowed six goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Ducks.
Askarov gave up the first hat trick of John Carlson's career in this contest. This was a second straight loss for Askarov, who has allowed 11 goals on 63 shots over those two appearances. The 23-year-old's goaltending simply hasn't been good enough lately to keep the Sharks competitive in the playoff race -- they're now four points back of the Kings for the second wild-card spot, with two teams in between. Askarov is now down to 21-19-3 with a 3.62 GAA and an .883 save percentage across 45 starts. The Sharks will be in must-win mode versus the Canucks on Saturday, and that makes it unclear if Askarov will be the one trusted to take care of the favorable matchup.

Pavel Mintyukov D | ANA
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Grabs two helpers in win
Mintyukov notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.
Mintyukov has been back in the lineup for two games since he recovered from a lower-body injury. The 22-year-old had a hand in first-period tallies by Leo Carlsson and John Carlson to snap a five-game point drought. Mintyukov is up to 22 points, 78 shots on net, 108 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 70 appearances, playing mainly in a bottom-four role.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Posts pair of helpers
Granlund logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.
Granlund has gone seven games without a goal since his March 26 hat trick versus the Flames. He had picked up just one assist over his prior six contests before adding two more in this lopsided win. The 34-year-old forward is up to 37 points (19 goals, 18 helpers), 11 power-play points, 108 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 55 appearances this season. Granlund will likely continue to see middle-six usage with ice time in all situations.

Beckett Sennecke RW | ANA
Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Hits 60-point mark as rookie
Sennecke notched two assists, two shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.
Sennecke set up Alex Killorn in the second period and helped out on the second goal of John Carlson's hat trick in the third, a power-play tally midway through the frame. The 20-year-old Sennecke had gone eight games without a multi-point effort. The rookie winger is up to 60 points (23 goals, 37 helpers), including 13 on the power play, while adding 191 shots on net, 95 hits, 58 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 79 appearances. Only Montreal's Ivan Demidov (61) has more points among rookies this season.

Josh Doan RW | BUF
Sabres' Josh Doan: Three-game, four-point streak
Doan scored twice and added a blocked shot Thursday in a 5-0 win over the Blue Jackets.
Doan is on a three-game, four-point streak (two goals, two assists), and he has 25 goals and 51 points through 80 games this season, marking a considerable bump in production compared to his first two seasons in the league. Doan could push for the 30-goal, 60-point and 100-hit thresholds by next season, making him an intriguing fantasy option for the 2026-27 campaign.
