  • Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Achieves two milestones in OT win

Schmaltz scored two goals, including one while shorthanded, in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Oilers.

Schmaltz reached the 30-goal and 70-point milestones for the first time in his career with this performance. He's earned six goals and three assists over his last seven outings as he continues to benefit from the Mammoth's overall improvements as a team this year. In addition to his career-best offense, the 30-year-old has 188 shots on net, a plus-20 rating, 47 blocked shots, 26 PIM and 21 hits, all of which are also career highs, through 77 appearances.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Escapes with overtime win

Vejmelka stopped 21 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Oilers.

Vejmelka extended his winning streak to four games, but he's now allowed 13 goals in that span. The 29-year-old struggled early, allowing three first-period goals, but the Mammoth were able to pick him up and battle back. Vejmelka is 36-19-3 with a 2.74 GAA and an .896 save percentage over a league-high 60 appearances. He'll likely stay busy as the Mammoth look to wrap up a wild-card spot, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him start Thursday versus the Predators, another playoff hopeful.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Buries goal in Tuesday's loss

Larsson scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.

This was Larsson's first goal since the Olympic break. He had seven helpers over his last 20 outings before tallying in the first period Tuesday. The 33-year-old blueliner has done alright despite the Kraken's overall struggles, picking up six goals, 23 points, 96 shots on net, 159 blocked shots, 106 hits, 42 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 77 appearances. He'll close out the campaign in a top-four role.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Pots goal in loss

Montour scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.

Montour snapped a five-game point drought with the tally. The 31-year-old defenseman is up to 11 goals, 32 points, 159 shots on net, 73 blocked shots, 65 hits, 43 PIM and a minus-17 rating across 59 appearances. Montour continues to play in a top-four role, and his per-game production has been in line with previous campaigns despite some missed time this year.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Falls short in Minnesota

Daccord allowed four goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.

Daccord didn't have a great performance, allowing at least four goals for the fourth time in his last five outings. He'll likely get the majority of the playing time in the absence of Philipp Grubauer (lower body), though Matt Murray could also get an appearance at some point. Daccord is down to 19-20-6 with a 3.04 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 46 appearances. The Kraken begin their last homestand Thursday versus the Golden Knights.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

Wild's Yakov Trenin: Posts helper in win

Trenin logged an assist and five hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Trenin has gone 16 games without a goal, earning four assists, 21 shots on net and 89 hits in that span. For the season, the 29-year-old has earned 22 points, 93 shots on net, 33 PIM, a plus-13 rating and a league-leading 395 hits over 78 appearances. The offense is just enough to make it worth rostering Trenin for his elite production in fantasy leagues that count hits.

  • Marcus Foligno LW | MIN

Wild's Marcus Foligno: Goal, fight in win

Foligno scored a goal on two shots, added five PIM, logged two hits, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Foligno's tally tied the game at 2-2 in the second period. He also had a heavyweight fight with Jamie Oleksiak in the opening frame. The 34-year-old Foligno continues to play in a bottom-six role, which gives him little scoring potential. He's been held to 13 points, 62 shots on net, 170 hits, 46 blocked shots, 63 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 54 appearances this season.

  • Wild's Vladimir Tarasenko: Tallies again in win

Tarasenko scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Tarasenko has scored in consecutive contests for the third time in his last 11 outings. In that span, he has seven goals and two assists. The 34-year-old's ice time has been trending down lately since the Wild's forward group is healthy, but he's been productive with his chances. He's now at 23 goals, 45 points, 140 shots on net, 59 hits and a minus-8 rating over 71 appearances in a middle-six role this season.

  • Shane Pinto C | OTT

Senators' Shane Pinto: New career mark in goals

Pinto scored a short handed, empty-net goal Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Lightning.

Pinto has three points, including two goals, in his last two games and three goals in his last four games. His goal Tuesday established a new career mark (22). Pinto's previous best came last season when he put up 21 goals and 16 assists. He's on a solid pace, but center is extremely deep, so you need to consider if you could find a fit for a pivot on a 50-plus point campaign.

  • Wild's Marcus Johansson: Scores 200th career goal

Johansson scored a goal, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Johansson had been limited to two assists over the prior eight games. The 35-year-old's third-period tally was the 200th goal of his career. Johansson has been a fixture in the Wild's middle six this season, and he's had his best campaign since 2016-17 with 15 goals and 47 points over 71 appearances. He has a chance to hit the 50-point mark for just the second time in his career if he finishes the regular season with strong play.
