  • Senators' Jordan Spence: New career mark in points

Spence scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 victory over the Lightning.

Spence ripped a wrist shot over Jonas Johansson's glove from the edge of the right circle that bounced off the back bar and careened down the ice. Spence set a new career high for points in a season with 29 (seven goals, 22 assists), which bested his previous high of 28 (2024-25). Since March 15, Spence has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 13 games.

  • Matt Boldy LW | MIN

Wild's Matt Boldy: Picks up two more points

Boldy scored a goal, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Boldy has three multi-point efforts over the first four games of April, earning four goals and three assists in that span. The 25-year-old winger had some struggles in March, but he's otherwise been spectacular in a career year. He's up to 42 goals, 41 assists, 245 shots on net, 58 hits, 58 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-19 rating through 74 appearances.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Three-point effort in win

Eriksson Ek scored an empty-net goal on three shots, dished two assists, blocked two shots, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Eriksson Ek has a goal and five helpers over four games to begin April. The 29-year-old continues to look steady in a second-line role, though he hasn't logged a power-play point since March 8 versus the Avalanche. The center is up to 19 goals, 51 points, 188 shots on net, 105 hits, 33 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 69 appearances. This is the third time in four years he's exceeded the 50-point mark.

  • Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Snaps 11-game goal drought

Zetterlund scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Zetterlund has a modest 14 goals, 15 assists, 124 shots and 146 hits in 78 games this season. The goal snapped an 11-game snipe drought. Zetterlund's fantasy value is limited on the Sens' fourth line.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Secures win over Kraken

Wallstedt stopped 25 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Wallstedt came away with his third straight win. He allowed both goals in the first period before locking things down in the final 40 minutes. Wallstedt improved to 17-8-6 with a 2.65 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 33 outings this season. The 23-year-old netminder should get at least one more start in the regular season since the Wild end on a back-to-back, but it wouldn't be surprising if he got two starts to afford Filip Gustavsson a little extra rest. The Wild begin a three-game road trip Thursday in Dallas, offering a preview of a first-round series.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Solid play has team in wild card

Ullmark made 28 saves in a 6-2 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.

The game was tight into the midpoint of the third when the Sens broke it open. Ullmark has won two straight and three in his last four games. He has allowed just six goals in those three wins. Ullmark has taken a lot of heat for poor play this season, but he's gone 12-4-3 in 19 games since his return from a month-long personal leave from Dec. 28 to Jan. 25. Ullmark's save percentage this season (.887) is below the league average (.896), but his 2.82 GAA is actually better than the league average (2.88). Ottawa is now two points ahead of the Blue Jackets for the second playoff wild card from the Eastern Conference.

  • Tim Stutzle LW | OTT

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Three-game, six-point steak

Stutzle had a goal and two assists in Tuesday's 6-2 victory over the Lightning.

Stutzle's goal came on a third-period power play to push the lead to 4-2. He has six points, including two goals, on his current three-game point streak and 82 points (34 goals, 48 assists) in 78 games. Stutzle is in a four-way tie with Jack Eichel, Alex DeBrincat and Wyatt Johnston for 17th in league scoring.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: First multi-goal game in NHL

Sanderson scored twice Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay.

It was Sanderson's first multi-goal game in the NHL, and he set a new career high for goals in a single regular season with 13. His first goal stood as the winner; his second came on the power play to make the score 5-2. Sanderson returned April 4 after missing 13 games due to an upper-body injury. He has two goals, one assist and seven shots in those three games since his return. Overall, Sanderson has 51 points in 65 games this season.

  • Brady Tkachuk LW | OTT

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Another four-point effort

Tkachuk delivered four assists Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Lightning.

Tkachuk became the fourth Sens player in the past 10 years with multiple four-point games in a single season. He has two this year. The others? Tim Stutzle (twice; most: three games in 2022-23), Batherson (three games in 2021-22) and Erik Karlsson (two games in 2015-16). Tkachuk has six points (two goals) in his last two games (eight shots) and 58 (22 goals, 36 assists) in 58 games this season.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Game closer than score indicates

Johansson made 25 saves in a 6-2 loss to Ottawa on Tuesday. He allowed five goals.

The game was tight well into the third -- the score was just 3-2 at the midpoint of the frame, and then the Sens took charge. The Bolts challenged a Tim Stutzle goal for goalie interference, but it was upheld, and then the Sens capitalized on the ensuing power play to push the game to 5-2. Johansson could get more playing time before season's end in order to give Andrei Vasilevskiy a rest prior to the postseason. In theory, the Bolts are good enough to win with Johansson in net, so consider him for spot starts.
