Red Wings' Justin Faulk: Out again Sunday

Faulk (lower body) isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Wild, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Faulk left Thursday's game against the Flyers with an injury and now will be held out for both ends of the weekend back-to-back for the Red Wings. Sunday will mark just the third game that the 34-year-old has missed this season. He has had a quiet tenure with his new team since being acquired from the Blues, recording three points (one goal, two assists) in 12 games.

  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Out Sunday

Bogosian (lower body) won't play Sunday against the Red Wings, the Wild announced.

He is officially day-to-day with the injury sustained Saturday against the Senators. The 35-year-old has two goals and four assists in 41 games on the season. In his absence, Jeff Petry will draw into the lineup and play on the third pair with Jake Middleton. Bogosian's next chance for a return will be Tuesday against the Kraken.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Starting in Detroit

Gustavsson will defend the road net against the Red Wings on Sunday, according to Joe Smith of The Athletic.

Gustavsson will get the second half of Minnesota's back-to-back after Jesper Wallstedt played in Saturday's 4-1 win over Ottawa. The 27-year-old Gustavsson has a 27-13-6 record this campaign with four shutouts, a 2.56 GAA and a .909 save percentage across 47 appearances. Detroit sits 21st in the league with 2.88 goals per game this season.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Making first start in a month

Talbot will get the start in goal Sunday against the Wild, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Talbot will make his first start since March 3, as John Gibson had gotten 14 straight starts for the Red Wings. With the team on the second leg of a back-to-back, Talbot will snap Gibson's streak Sunday. The 38-year-old Talbot has a 12-8-5 record on the season with a 3.01 GAA and an .892 save percentage. The Wild are also on the second leg of a back-to-back and have scored a combined nine goals over their last two games.

  • Cole Caufield RW | MON

Canadiens' Cole Caufield: Extends impressive streak

Caufield recorded two assists, including one on the power play, and took five shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Devils.

Caufield has recorded two points in each of his last four games, tallying four goals and four assists over that span. The star winger has posted career-best numbers across the board in 2025-26 but has been particularly hot of late. Over his last 10 contests, Caufield has notched 19 points (10 goals, nine helpers), 38 shots on goal and an impressive plus-11 rating.

  • Timo Meier RW | NJ

Devils' Timo Meier: Lights lamp Saturday

Meier recorded a goal, an assist, seven shots on goal and five hits in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

Meier found the back of the net at the 17:45 mark of the third period, and his snap shot allowed the Devils to tie the game after falling in a 3-0 hole early in the second period. This was Meier's first multi-point game since March 14, but he has remained a very productive forward for New Jersey. Over his last 11 games, he's posted 10 points (six goals, four assists), 40 shots on goal, 18 hits and 11 blocked shots.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Another multi-point effort

Hughes recorded a shorthanded goal and an even-strength assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

Hughes was coming off a five-point performance in the 7-3 win over the Capitals on Thursday, and he made his presence felt once again in the Devils' comeback by participating directly in the team's final two goals. The Devils are on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention, but Hughes is ending the season on a sizzling note. The star forward has posted five multi-point performances over his last seven games, a stretch in which he's racked up 15 points (seven goals, eight helpers), 34 shots on goal and a plus-5 rating.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: Tagged with SO loss

Allen stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

Allen allowed all three goals between the latter stages of the first period and the opening 10 minutes of the second frame, but he settled down afterward, and his play between the pipes was key to allowing the Devils to mount a comeback. Despite being tagged with the loss after the shootout, this was the fourth straight outing in which Allen avoided a loss in regulation. Over that stretch, the Devils' No. 2 goaltender owns a 3.19 GAA with an .891 save percentage. Allen has started the Devils' last two games, but he should return to the bench in the second leg of the back-to-back set against Montreal.

  • Ivan Demidov RW | MON

Canadiens' Ivan Demidov: Point streak reaches five games

Demidov scored a power-play goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Devils.

Demidov snapped a three-game goal drought with a power-play goal midway through the second period, and this was his 17th goal of the campaign following set-ups from Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki. Demidov is enjoying an excellent rookie season with 60 points (17 goals, 43 assists) in 76 regular-season showings while playing consistently as a top-six forward and member of the first power-play unit.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Makes 35 saves in win

Dobes stopped 35 of 38 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Devils.

Dobes was beaten twice in the second period and once more in the third, but the Canadiens recovered to win the game in the shootout. Dobes has been playing at a very high level lately, winning each of his last five starts while posting an impressive 1.57 GAA and .955 save percentage over that span.
