Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Tagged with SO loss
Allen stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.
Allen allowed all three goals between the latter stages of the first period and the opening 10 minutes of the second frame, but he settled down afterward, and his play between the pipes was key to allowing the Devils to mount a comeback. Despite being tagged with the loss after the shootout, this was the fourth straight outing in which Allen avoided a loss in regulation. Over that stretch, the Devils' No. 2 goaltender owns a 3.19 GAA with an .891 save percentage. Allen has started the Devils' last two games, but he should return to the bench in the second leg of the back-to-back set against Montreal.

Ivan Demidov RW | MON
Canadiens' Ivan Demidov: Point streak reaches five games
Demidov scored a power-play goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Devils.
Demidov snapped a three-game goal drought with a power-play goal midway through the second period, and this was his 17th goal of the campaign following set-ups from Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki. Demidov is enjoying an excellent rookie season with 60 points (17 goals, 43 assists) in 76 regular-season showings while playing consistently as a top-six forward and member of the first power-play unit.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Makes 35 saves in win
Dobes stopped 35 of 38 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Devils.
Dobes was beaten twice in the second period and once more in the third, but the Canadiens recovered to win the game in the shootout. Dobes has been playing at a very high level lately, winning each of his last five starts while posting an impressive 1.57 GAA and .955 save percentage over that span.

Sebastian Aho LW | CAR
Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Extends point streak Saturday
Aho scored a shorthanded goal on seven shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Aho found the back of the net late in the second period to give the Canes a 3-2 lead with his second shortie of the campaign. Aho has found the scoresheet in five consecutive games and nine of his last 11, tallying 12 points (three goals, nine helpers) over that stretch. As a forward who sees regular ice time in all situations, the 28-year-old playmaker should remain one of the most reliable fantasy contributors on the Hurricanes' roster. Aho has 78 points in 76 regular-season games, and he's on the cusp of reaching the 80-point threshold for the fourth time in his career.
-
Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Three points in win
Jarvis recorded two goals, an assist, six shots and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Jarvis snapped a three-game goal drought with his first multi-goal performance since the Olympic break -- the last time he achieved this feat was in a 4-3 win over the Senators on Feb. 3. Despite the recent lack of goals, Jarvis continues to find ways to produce as a top-six forward. Jarvis has 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) in 17 games since the beginning of March.

Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Concedes three but earns win
Bussi stopped 13 of 16 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Bussi didn't have a lot of work until late in the game, as the Isles racked up 10 of their 16 shots in the final period, but the offense provided Bussi with enough support to give him another win. The 27-year-old, who remains in a timeshare with Frederik Andersen, has won his last four starts, posting a 2.50 GAA and an .884 save percentage over that stretch.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Questionable Sunday
Bogosian (undisclosed) left Saturday's game against the Senators early and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Red Wings, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Bogosian was presumably injured Saturday while going into the boards awkwardly after missing a hit. The 35-year-old didn't finish the game as a result. He has six points (two goals, four assists) in 41 games this season. If he can't go Sunday against the Red Wings, expect Jeff Petry or Daemon Hunt to draw into the lineup.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Suffers fourth straight loss
Sorokin stopped 36 of 40 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Sorokin started both games during the Isles' back-to-back set, but he was underwhelming and allowed eight goals on 61 shots faced over that span. The 30-year-old netminder has lost each of his past four outings while posting a 5.02 GAA and a woeful .852 save percentage over that stretch. Considering he has made 11 starts in a row (4-7-0, 3.18 GAA, .891 save percentage), it wouldn't be surprising if he gets a breather at some point in the coming days, although the Isles now have three days off before facing the Maple Leafs on Thursday.

Anders Lee LW | NYI
Islanders' Anders Lee: Pots goal Saturday
Lee scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
The Islanders have dropped four games in a row, but Lee remains a productive forward for the struggling New York team with three goals, 10 shots, nine hits and two blocked shots over that span. The 35-year-old veteran has been a reliable fantasy contributor all season long for the Isles, tallying 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) in 78 regular-season contests, a figure that ranks fourth on the team.

Anthony Mantha RW | PIT
Penguins' Anthony Mantha: Finds back of net again Saturday
Mantha produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Panthers.
Both points came in the second period as Pittsburgh blew open a 2-2 tie. Mantha has caught fire of late, lighting the lamp in four of the last five games and getting onto the scoresheet in all five while racking up five goals and eight points. On the season, the veteran winger has already produced new career highs with 31 goals and 61 points in 77 contests.
