Matthew Schaefer D | NYI
Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Ten points in last 10 games
Schaefer put up a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs.
Schaefer has 10 points (two goals, eight assists), 29 shots and one power-play point in his last 10 games. Overall, the rookie defender continues to impress with 20 goals and 29 assists in 68 games. That puts Schaefer in a tie with Erik Karlsson for 11th in the NHL from the blue line. Perhaps more impressively, he's flirting with a 60-point pace. If he achieves that, Schaefer would be the 11th rookie defender in NHL history to achieve that mark. That would get him into Nicklas Lidstrom territory.

Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Fails to get offensive support
Woll made 31 saves in a 3-1 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday.
Woll surrendered two power-play goals in the first period, and the only offensive support he got came from the fourth line. That's a hard place to be. Woll continues to demonstrate that he's an above-average NHL starter, but the Leafs have skidded into the ditch this season. He's 1-5-1 in seven outings since the Olympic break with an .893 save percentage in that span.

Jack Nesbitt C | PHI
Flyers' Jack Nesbitt: Scores twice in OHL win
Nesbitt scored twice in OHL Windsor's 5-1 win over Erie on Tuesday.
Nesbitt has three goals and six assists during a five-game point streak, matching his longest streak of the season. It's been a relatively unremarkable campaign for the Flyers prospect, but he's finishing strong. Nesbitt is at 21 goals and 54 points over 53 appearances.

Cameron Reid D | NSH
Predators' Cameron Reid: Posts three points in OHL win
Reid scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Kitchener's 6-2 win over Flint on Tuesday.
Reid has three goals and four assists over seven contests in March. For the season, the defenseman has career-high marks with 15 goals, 41 assists and 56 points this season. He's added a plus-25 rating, 113 shots on net and 29 PIM.

Jack Studnicka C | FLA
Panthers' Jack Studnicka: Nets both goals in loss
Studnicka scored two goals in AHL Charlotte's 5-2 loss to Hartford on Tuesday.
Studnicka is up to 22 points over 30 outings for the Checkers. He's picked up the pace with four goals and two assists over seven outings in March. While he spent time with the Panthers earlier in the season, he went scoreless over 18 appearances with the big club.

Steven Lorentz C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: First goal in 30 games
Lorentz scored a goal in a 3-1 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday.
He took a pass in the low right circle, spun and wired a laser past Ilya Sorokin. It was Lorentz's first goal in 30 games (four assists). His fantasy value is limited. Lorentz does have 119 hits in 59 games this season, but he has just 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in a fourth-line role in Toronto.

Zemgus Girgensons C | TB
Lightning's Zemgus Girgensons: Good to go
Girgensons (undisclosed) will play versus the Kraken on Tuesday, per the NHL media site.
Girgensons was hurt in Saturday's game versus the Hurricanes, but he won't miss additional time. The 32-year-old is slated to fill a bottom-six role as usual. He has one goal over 10 games since the Olympic break.

Eeli Tolvanen RW | SEA
Kraken's Eeli Tolvanen: Out of action Tuesday
Tolvanen won't play versus the Lightning on Tuesday, Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum reports, and the team added that the winger is dealing with an upper-body injury.
Tolvanen missed the third period of Sunday's game versus the Panthers, and he'll be forced to miss a full contest as well while he recovers. Jacob Melanson is set to enter the lineup on the fourth line, while Frederick Gaudreau is poised to move into the middle six to cover Tolvanen's all-situations minutes.
-
Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: In goal Tuesday
Vasilevskiy will protect the road goal versus the Kraken on Tuesday, Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum reports.
Vasilevskiy will look to shake off a rough patch -- he's 2-5-0 with a 3.50 GAA and an .880 save percentage over his last seven games. The Kraken have won just two of their last six games, but they have scored 20 goals in that span.

Tanner Pearson LW | BUF
Sabres' Tanner Pearson: Out again Tuesday
Pearson (lower body) won't suit up Tuesday versus the Golden Knights, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
Pearson is set to miss his second straight game due to the injury. Even once he's healthy, there's no guarantee he'll be in the lineup often. He'll have to compete for bottom-six minutes.
