  • Evander Kane LW | VAN

Canucks' Evander Kane: Game-time call Monday

Kane will be a game-time decision for Monday's game versus the Senators for an undisclosed injury, Randip Janda of Sportsnet reports.

Kane missed the Canucks morning skate due to his undisclosed injury. If the veteran winger is unable to play Monday, waiver pickup Curtis Douglas will likely make his Canucks' debut. In 61 games this year, Kane has generated only 11 goals, which would be his lowest total since 2014-15 if he doesn't start scoring more.

  • Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Expected between pipes

Vanecek is slated to patrol the crease for Monday's road game versus the Blackhawks, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

Vanecek has appeared in just three of the Mammoth's 23 contests since the start of 2026, posting a 2-0-1 record with one shutout and six goals allowed on 82 shots in those games. Given his limited work rate, the 30-year-old netminder won't offer much in the way of fantasy value, considering he will primarily feature in back-to-backs.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Pots game-winning goal Sunday

Heiskanen scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over Chicago.

Heiskanen found the back of the net just 22 seconds into overtime to give the Stars the win, extending the team's point streak to 12 games. The star blueliner has been very productive of late and has cracked the scoresheet in eight of his last nine appearances, a span in which he's racked up 12 points (two goals, 10 assists), 25 shots, four hits and 16 blocked shots.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Point streak up to four games

Bourque scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over Chicago.

Bourque has posted back-to-back multi-point performances for the first time this season, and he's been on a tear since the beginning of March with six points (two goals, four assists) during a four-game point streak. The 24-year-old playmaker has set a new career-high mark in points with 29 in 63 regular-season contests after putting up 25 points in 73 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.

  • Stars' Casey DeSmith: Gives up three goals Sunday

DeSmith stopped 16 of 19 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over Chicago.

DeSmith continues to play well and extended his winning streak to four games, allowing seven goals on 73 shots faced over that span. Jake Oettinger remains the No. 1 option for the Stars between the pipes, but don't be surprised if DeSmith earns more playing time based on how good he's been lately. His last defeat came Jan. 22 in a 1-0 loss to the Blue Jackets.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Snaps scoring drought

Bedard scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Bedard ended his three-game goal drought -- his longest since a four-game stretch from Jan. 22-27 -- when it mattered the most, as he evened things up at 3-3 with 1:20 left in the third period. Bedard continues to find ways to produce for a struggling Blackhawks team, and he has five points (three goals, two assists) in six games since the Olympic break, despite Chicago going 1-3-2 in that stretch.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: First off Monday

Lankinen was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Randip Janda of Sportsnet reports, indicating he will patrol the home crease against Ottawa on Monday.

Lankinen is coming off a 32-save effort in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Winnipeg. He has a 7-20-5 record this campaign with a 3.73 GAA and an .875 save percentage across 35 appearances. Ottawa is tied for eighth in the league with 3.37 goals per game this season.

  • Tyler Bertuzzi LW | CHI

    Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Keeps producing

Bertuzzi scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Bertuzzi scored the team's first goal with a tip-in at the 6:59 mark of the first period to give Chicago a 1-0 lead. This was Bertuzzi's 27th goal of the season, and the 31-year-old veteran continues to find ways to produce. He has a point in five of Chicago's last six games, tallying two goals and three assists over that stretch.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Tagged with OT defeat

Soderblom stopped 27 of 31 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Soderblom avoided the loss in regulation, but an overtime goal from Miro Heiskanen just 22 seconds into the extra period forced the 26-year-old to settle with another defeat. Soderblom has dropped three of his last four starts, going 1-2-1 with 14 goals allowed on 118 shots (.881 save percentage) in that span. Since Spencer Knight (illness) won't be available Monday, Drew Commesso will get the nod versus Utah on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Soderblom should be the Blackhawks' No. 1 goaltender until Knight is ready to return.

  • Josh Doan RW | BUF

Sabres' Josh Doan: Starts scoring streak

Doan scored two power-play goals in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Lightning.

Doan broke the deadlock for the Sabres at the 8:26 mark of the first period and later completed the third-period comeback with the game-winning goal at the 15:43 mark of the final frame. Doan has scored in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season, and his longest streak in that regard was a four-game streak between Dec. 31 and Jan. 8. Doan is up to 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) in 64 contests this season.
