  • Reid Schaefer LW | NSH

Predators' Reid Schaefer: Finds twine Thursday

Schaefer scored a goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Devils.

Schaefer snapped a seven-game slump with the tally. The winger has two goals over 10 appearances since returning to the NHL in early March. He's up to six goals, two assists, 32 shots on net, 93 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 37 appearances. Schaefer will likely continue to fill a fourth-line role this season, but the 22-year-old could work his way into a middle-six job as a power winger as soon as 2026-27.

  • Devils' Jonas Siegenthaler: Two more helpers in win

Siegenthaler notched two assists, three blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Predators.

Siegenthaler went from an 18-game point drought to consecutive multi-point outings with his second two-assist effort of the week. The 28-year-old defenseman's uptick in offense won't last in the long run, as he's still a risky defense-first option that most fantasy managers can look over. For the season, he's at 11 helpers, 53 shots on net, 84 hits, 114 blocked shots, 46 PIM and a minus-12 rating across 71 appearances.

  • Timo Meier RW | NJ

    Devils' Timo Meier: Deposits empty-netter

Meier scored an empty-net goal on four shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Predators.

Meier has scored in four of the last six games, adding one assist, 20 shots on net and a plus-3 rating in that span. The 29-year-old winger continues to play in a top-six role, and his offense is starting to reflect that usage after some down stretches during the season. He's at 21 goals, 36 points, 235 shots on net, 116 hits, 47 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 66 appearances.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Pots goal in loss

Stamkos scored a goal on six shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Devils.

Stamkos extended his goal-scoring streak to four games with a backhander at the 13:00 mark of the second period, and that gave him 36 goals on the year. The veteran winger is closing out the season on a strong note after enduring a minor cold stretch in mid-March. Even with that slump, Stamkos continues to find ways to make an impact and is up to 12 points (six goals, six helpers), 18 PIM, 28 shots, 13 hits and seven blocked shots despite a minus-5 rating in 13 games since the beginning of March.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Extends streak with two assists

Hughes recorded two assists, including one on the power play, and took seven shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Predators.

Hughes couldn't find the back of the net in this one, but he left his mark with two helpers to boost his point streak to seven games -- a stretch in which he's racked up 14 points (five goals, nine assists) and 29 shots. Hughes has been healthy since the league resumed after the Winter Olympics and is up to 23 points in 14 games, tallying eight goals and 15 assists while failing to crack the scoresheet just twice in that period.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Logs assist in return

Lehkonen notched an assist in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Jets.

Lehkonen was out of the lineup for 11 games due to an upper-body injury before making his return Thursday. The winger played on the second line but was limited to 12:06 of ice time, well below his average of 18:37 per game this season. The 30-year-old may be eased back in since the Avalanche are relatively healthy for once. Lehkonen has 19 goals, 43 points, 138 shots on net, 43 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-31 rating over 60 appearances this season.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Beaten three times

Annunen stopped 26 of 29 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Devils. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Annunen was beaten once in each period and couldn't build on his two-game winning streak. In fact, the lack of consistency from game to game has been Annunen's biggest issue since the league resumed following the Olympic break. The 26-year-old netminder has made six starts since the league resumed and is 3-3-0 during that time, though that record comes with a 2.03 GAA and .931 save percentage. Those are strong enough numbers to show fantasy managers should continue to trust him even if he finds himself at the losing end of games more often than not.

  • Devils' Nico Hischier: Scores twice vs. Nashville

Hischier scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Predators.

Hischier has scored at least two goals in two of his last six games, as he also delivered two goals in the 6-4 win over the Kings on March 14, and he's riding one of his most productive stretches of the campaign. The 27-year-old forward has cracked the scoresheet in six of his last 10 games while tallying 12 points (six goals, six assists), 25 shots, five hits and five blocked shots over that span. He's up to 55 points on the season across 71 contests, and he's on the verge of reaching the 60-point plateau for a fifth straight campaign, which speaks volumes about his consistency on a year-to-year basis.

  • Jack Drury C | COL

Avalanche's Jack Drury: Gets goal in win

Drury scored a goal on five shots and added four hits in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Jets.

Drury has a goal and an assist over his last two games. The Avalanche are nearly fully healthy up front with just Nicolas Roy (upper body) unavailable. Drury will remain in the lineup in a bottom-six capacity and serve as a faceoff specialist -- he won 11 of 12 draws yesterday and is winning faceoffs at a 59.2 percent clip on the year, which is 10th among players with at least 100 faceoffs taken. Drury has added a career-high nine goals with 23 points, 85 shots on net, 53 blocked shots, 43 hits, 29 PIM and a plus-14 rating over 71 appearances.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Makes 15 saves in win

Markstrom stopped 15 of 17 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Predators.

Markstrom returned to the lineup after not playing in New Jersey's last two games and didn't miss a beat, allowing three or fewer goals for the third game in a row to keep his winning streak alive. The 36-year-old veteran, who is firmly established as the Devils' No. 1 goaltender ahead of Jake Allen, has won seven of his last nine games, going 7-2-0 with a 2.64 GAA and an .886 save percentage over that stretch. The win total is nice, but the peripherals indicate the veteran hasn't looked nearly as good as his record indicates. He should continue to be a reliable option between the posts, though.
