  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Loses in shootout Tuesday

Daccord turned aside 21 of 24 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts during Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Panthers.

Florida's fourth goal in regulation deflected in off the stick of Shane Wright, who was attempting to block a centering pass by Noah Gregor. Daccord has just one win in his last seven outings, going 1-5-1 during that stretch with a 3.94 GAA and .862 save percentage.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Lights lamp in return

Larkin scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa.

Making his return from a seven-game absence due to a leg injury, Larkin found the back of the net early in the third period for the game's final goal. The 29-year-old star has 29 goals in 64 games on the season, leaving him one short of his fifth straight 30-goal campaign.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Comes up short Tuesday

Gibson stopped 18 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.

Ottawa took control early and built a 3-0 lead midway through the second period, and while Gibson shut the door the rest of the way, his offense couldn't close the gap. The veteran netminder has allowed more than three goals only once in 10 March outings while posting a 2.47 GAA and .909 save percentage, but he has just a 3-5-1 record to show for it.

  • Senators' Carter Yakemchuk: Big night in NHL debut

Yakemchuk scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Red Wings.

After being called up from AHL Belleville due to injuries to Thomas Chabot (arm) and Lassi Thomson (lower body), Yakemchuk made an immediate impact. The seventh overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft picked up his first NHL point on Brady Tkachuk's first-period tally. Yakemchuk scored a goal of his own by snapping a puck past John Gibson from the top of the faceoff circle midway through the second frame. With Jake Sanderson (upper body) also still unavailable, the 20-year-old Yakemchuk split time on the first power-play unit with Jordan Spence, but that could change if the team doesn't get healthier down the stretch.

  • Brady Tkachuk LW | OTT

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Two points in Tuesday's win

Tkachuk scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Detroit.

The 26-year-old winger opened the scoring late in the first period by tipping a Tim Stutzle shot past John Gibson. The goal was Tkachuk's 20th of the season, marking the fifth straight campaign he's reached that milestone. Through 12 games in March, he has collected five goals and 10 points with 40 shots on net, 24 hits, nine PIM and a plus-4 rating.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Nabs big win Tuesday

Ullmark made 32 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Red Wings.

In a battle of two teams clawing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, Ullmark got staked to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period and did enough to make it stick. The veteran netminder has allowed two goals or fewer in four of his last five starts, going 4-1-0 during that span with a 2.02 GAA and .915 save percentage.

  • Nick Paul C | TB

Lightning's Nick Paul: First helper since return

Paul logged a power-play assist in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Wild.

Paul set up Brandon Hagel for the first of the Lightning's two empty-net goals. This was Paul's first point in six games since he returned from a lower-body injury. A couple of lengthy absences have kept Paul's scoring numbers down this season -- he's at 13 points, 52 shots on net, 52 hits and a minus-11 rating over 40 appearances. He will have limited fantasy upside as long as he remains in the bottom six.

  • Lightning's Pontus Holmberg: Awarded empty-netter

Holmberg was credited with an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Wild.

Holmberg was impeded on his way to the empty net, which resulted in him being awarded the goal despite not recording a shot on net in the contest. He has four points over his last six games. For the season, the 27-year-old forward is up to 11 goals, 22 points, 78 shots on net, 59 hits, 30 blocked shots and 23 PIM over 63 outings in a bottom-six role.

  • Penguins' Yegor Chinakhov: Stays hot in loss

Chinakhov scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Chinakhov has scored in three straight games. He's earned five goals and eight helpers over 13 outings in March, which is half of his production with the Penguins this season. The 25-year-old winger is up to 32 points, 117 shots on net, 48 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 62 appearances between Pittsburgh and Columbus. Since being acquired by the Penguins in late December, he has been excellent as a top-six fixture.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Gets empty-netter in return

Colton scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Penguins.

Colton capped the scoring for the Avalanche in his return from a six-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old slotted onto the second line, but he may move down to the third line once Artturi Lehkonen (upper body) and Nicolas Roy (upper body) are healthy. Colton has been limited to nine goals, 24 points, 138 shots on net, 138 hits and a plus-13 rating over 61 appearances this season, down from 29 points in the same number of regular-season outings a year ago.
