  • Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Enters concussion protocol

Finnie is in concussion protocol after taking a heavy hit in Tuesday's game versus the Senators, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Finnie missed the last six minutes of the third period. The 20-year-old winger will be out until he is clear of concussion symptoms. The Red Wings have a back-to-back coming up, as they visit the Sabres on Friday before hosting the Flyers on Saturday. Sheldon Dries would likely draw into the lineup if Finnie misses time.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Guarding goal Tuesday

Vejmelka will guard the home goal versus the Oilers on Tuesday.

With a tough opponent in town, Vejmelka will get the nod for the third time in four games. He's won his last two outings, though he went 0-2-1 in the three contests before that. The Oilers are struggling with just 14 goals scored over their last six games, going 2-3-1 in that span.

  • Adrian Kempe RW | LA

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Slated to play Tuesday

Kempe (lower body) is expected to be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Flames, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kempe was considered a game-time decision, but it looks like he'll continue to be able to play through a nagging lower-body injury. The 29-year-old should be good for his usual top-line duties.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

Flames' Connor Zary: Out again Tuesday

Zary (upper body) won't play Tuesday versus the Kings, Ryan Pike of Flames Nation reports.

Zary will miss his second straight game after he got hurt Friday versus the Panthers. The 24-year-old was labeled day-to-day over the weekend, so his absence might not linger too long. That said, the Flames have no need to rush him back.

  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Departs Tuesday's game

DeAngelo (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Blackhawks.

DeAngelo was injured during a sequence that led to a Chicago goal. The defenseman can be considered day-to-day for now. DeAngelo joins Ryan Pulock (lower body) as Islanders defensemen dealing with injuries, which could open the door for Isaiah George to get into the lineup Thursday versus the Stars.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: Set to start Tuesday

Allen will protect the road goal versus the Stars on Tuesday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Allen will make his second start in a row after holding the Capitals to one goal on 27 shots in a 2-1 loss Friday. The 35-year-old has mostly served as backup to Jacob Markstrom this season -- this will be Allen's fourth outing in 13 games since the Olympic break. Even with the Stars missing some pieces, they're a tough challenge, making Allen a risky fantasy play on a busy schedule.

  • Hurricanes' Charles-Alexis Legault: Sent back down

Legault was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes had a question mark in their lineup Tuesday, but Legault was ultimately not needed to play. The 22-year-old defenseman will be an option whenever Carolina needs another call-up.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Tending twine Tuesday

Vasilevskiy will start in Tuesday's home matchup against the Wild, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Following Sunday's game of rest, Vasilevskiy will return to action and look to continue his recent success. Over his last five outings, he's been elite with a 4-1-0 record, a 2.01 GAA and a .920 save percentage. Overall, the 31-year-old superstar has a 33-12-3 record, a 2.29 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. He'll face the Wild, who profile as a relatively difficult matchup with 3.23 goals per game this season, which ranks 12th in the league.

  • Josh Anderson RW | MON

Canadiens' Josh Anderson: Ready to rock

Anderson (upper body) will return to the lineup against Carolina on Tuesday, according to Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

After missing the last two games, Anderson will return to a bottom-six role versus the Hurricanes. He has contributed 13 goals, 22 points, 78 shots on net, 112 hits and 52 PIM across 61 appearances this season.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Back in net Tuesday

Ullmark will start Tuesday's road clash against the Red Wings, per Ansar Khan of MLive.com.

Ullmark has played exceptionally well as of late to help the Senators get back into playoff contention. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder has a 22-10-7 record, a 2.77 GAA and an .885 save percentage across 40 appearances this season. Since Jan. 31, however, he has an 8-2-2 record, a 2.34 GAA and an .897 save percentage. He'll play a big role in Tuesday's pivotal clash where the Senators will look to tie the Red Wings' win total.
