  • Nick Lardis LW | CHI

Blackhawks' Nick Lardis: Lights lamp Sunday

Lardis scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Predators.

This was Lardis' first goal and second point over eight games during his current stint in the NHL. The 20-year-old had been confined to the bottom six for much of that time, but he got a look on the second line Sunday. Lardis' time in the top six could be short, as Anton Frondell is expected to the join the Blackhawks soon, and Sacha Boisvert (not injury related) is also ready to debut once his visa paperwork is completed. Lardis has long-term fantasy potential, but he'll need to differentiate himself as the Blackhawks look poised to let the youth take over for the rest of this campaign.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Tallies in overtime loss

Bedard scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Predators.

Bedard has four goals and seven assists over 11 outings in March. The 20-year-old is up to 29 goals, 66 points, 188 shots on net and 42 PIM over 57 appearances. He's one goal away from hitting 30 for the first time in his career, and he's two points away from setting a career high after logging 67 points in all 82 contests a year ago.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Adds another goal

Stamkos scored a goal on four shots and added three hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Stamkos has five points and six shots on net over his last three games. The 36-year-old continues to be productive as the Predators push for a playoff spot. He's now up to 34 goals, 56 points, 168 shots on net, 80 hits, 40 PIM and a minus-21 rating over 70 appearances. Stamkos' 20.2 shooting percentage matches his highest mark from any other season -- it was at that level in 2013-14, a season that was interrupted by injuries for the forward. He has the talent to be efficient on a high volume of shots, but given his age, Stamkos is poised for long-term regression.

  • Dylan Strome C | WAS

Capitals' Dylan Strome: Picks up power-play assist

Strome logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Avalanche.

Strome continues to be snakebit for scoring -- he has gone 15 games without a goal. In that span, he has six helpers and 22 shots on net, a level of production that has seen him occasionally slip off the first line. Strome is at 51 points (19 on the power play), 130 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 69 appearances. Barring a late surge, he could miss the 60-point mark for the first time in his four years with the Capitals.

  • Justin Sourdif RW | WAS

Capitals' Justin Sourdif: Pots goal Sunday

Sourdif scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Avalanche.

Sourdif snapped a five-game point drought with the tally. The 23-year-old is currently in a third-line role, though he was also in the power-play mix Sunday, which hasn't always been the case this season. Sourdif is up to 14 goals, 30 points, 97 shots on net, 89 hits, 37 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a plus-16 rating over 67 appearances as a rookie.

  • Avalanche's Zakhar Bardakov: Nabs helper Sunday

Bardakov registered an assist in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

Bardakov ended an 18-game slump with the helper on Nicolas Roy's third-period goal. The 25-year-old Bardakov is currently in a fourth-line role, but he hasn't logged more than 10 minutes of ice time since Jan. 29 versus the Canadiens. He's at 10 points, 30 shots on net, 47 hits and 21 blocked shots over 55 appearances this season.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Deposits goal Sunday

Roy scored a goal and added two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

Roy has three goals over nine games with the Avalanche since he was traded from the Maple Leafs. The 29-year-old forward offers less upside since he's in a fourth-line role now, one that has often featured limited ice time -- he's been under 15 minutes of ice time in six games for Colorado. Overall, the veteran center has eight goals, 23 points, 72 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-2 rating across 68 appearances this season.

  • Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog: Nets goal in return

Landeskog scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

Landeskog missed the previous seven contests due to a lower-body injury. He's taken more than his share of knocks in his comeback campaign, but he's still produced 10 goals, 30 points, 106 shots on net, 69 hits, 37 PIM and a plus-27 rating over 48 appearances. Landeskog would appear to be a top candidate to be rested if the Avalanche are able to secure the Presidents' Trophy early, but he's likely to be productive when in the lineup.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Scores overtime winner

Nelson scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

Nelson's tally came 1:22 into the extra session. The 34-year-old has scored in back-to-back contests and is up to 32 goals, including a career-high nine game-winners, over 69 appearances this season. Nelson has added 25 assists, 166 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 34 hits and a plus-11 rating, which has made him an excellent second-line center for the Avalanche.

  • Tye Kartye LW | NYR

Rangers' Tye Kartye: Finds twine Sunday

Kartye scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Jets.

Kartye had gone three contests without a point, though he had a five-game point streak prior to that. The 24-year-old was on the second line alongside J.T. Miller on Sunday since his usual center, Noah Laba, is out with a lower-body injury. Kartye has as many points in 12 games for the Rangers (eight) as he had in 40 outings with the Kraken prior to getting waived this season. He's an intriguing option for fantasy managers in deep formats who need a boost in hits.
