Zachary L'Heureux LW | NSH
Predators' Zachary L'Heureux: Inks two-year extension
L'Heureux signed a two-year, $1.75 million contract extension with the Predators on Wednesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
L'Heureux has split time between Nashville and AHL Milwaukee this season, recording 28 points (14 goals, 14 assists) in 28 AHL games while appearing in 10 contests at the NHL level. Selected by Nashville in the first round (27th overall) of the 2021 Draft, the 22-year-old winger produced five goals and 15 points across 62 appearances during his rookie campaign in 2024-25. L'Heureux profiles as a physical bottom-six forward with the ability to chip in offensively, but he'll need to improve his scoring consistency to lock down a full-time NHL role.

Adrian Kempe RW | LA
Kings' Adrian Kempe: Might be available for Thursday
Kempe (lower body) might be available to play Thursday versus Philadelphia, per Alexander Legget of Mayors Manor.
Kempe missed Monday's 4-1 win over the Rangers due to the injury. He has 26 goals and 58 points in 66 outings this season. If Kemper returns against the Flyers on Thursday, Mathieu Joseph will probably lose his spot in the top six.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Expected to face Colorado
Oettinger is expected to start on the road against Colorado on Wednesday, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.
Oettinger will be looking for a better result after stopping 25 of 29 shots through overtime in a 5-4 shootout loss to Colorado on March 6. The 27-year-old netminder has done well since that loss, going 3-0-0 while stopping 78 of 83 shots (.940 save percentage), so he has momentum on his side going into Wednesday's game. Oettinger is 28-10-5 with a 2.62 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 43 appearances in 2025-26.

Ross Johnston LW | ANA
Ducks' Ross Johnston: Out 3-4 weeks
Johnston (lower body) is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News on Wednesday.
Johnston has already missed the Ducks' last three games. The 31-year-old winger has put together the best offensive season of his career with three goals, 14 points, 33 shots, 192 hits and 107 PIM over 62 appearances. While Johnston doesn't offer much fantasy value from a scoring standpoint, he has been a fixture on Anaheim's fourth line and provides physicality that the Ducks will miss during his absence.

Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting against Calgary
Hofer will start Wednesday's road game against Calgary.
Hofer has been strong since the Olympic break, going 5-1-0 with a 1.64 GAA and .948 save percentage over his last six starts. He started on the road against Calgary on Oct. 11, allowing two goals on 29 shots (.931 save percentage) in a 4-2 victory.

Alex Wennberg C | SJ
Sharks' Alexander Wennberg: Slides helper Tuesday
Wennberg notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Oilers.
After being a game-time decision, Wennberg returned from a one-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old logged 19:19 of ice time while playing in all situations, so he should be good to go as long as he avoids setbacks. He's up to 44 points, 78 shots on met, 79 blocked shots and a minus-18 rating over 65 appearances. In terms of point production, this is his best campaign since his career year of 59 points in 80 outings during the 2016-17 regular season.

Jonathan Toews C | WPG
Jets' Jonathan Toews: Forces overtime Tuesday
Toews scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Predators.
Toews' tally with 1:01 left in regulation forced overtime. He had been limited to three assists over his previous 20 outings, but that followed a four-game goal streak from Jan. 9-15. The veteran center is now at 22 points, 89 shots on net, 30 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-17 rating across 67 appearances this season.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Guarding cage Wednesday
Dostal is expected to start at home against the Flyers on Wednesday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Dostal's recent play hasn't inspired a lot of confidence, but he's still getting results with five wins in his last seven outings. Even though Dostal has won eight of his previous 10 starts, he owns a 3.44 GAA and a subpar .874 save percentage over that span. Philadelphia is 31-23-12 on the season and generates 2.77 goals per game, which ranks 26th in the NHL. The Flyers' anemic offense gives Dostal a favorable matchup to continue racking up wins despite his inflated ratios.

Josh Morrissey D | WPG
Jets' Josh Morrissey: Tallies in shootout loss
Morrissey scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Predators.
Morrissey has two goals and two assists over his last six games. The defenseman is now at 12 goals, 46 points, 113 shots on net, 102 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 62 appearances. The Jets are still on the fringe of the playoff race, so expect Morrissey to continue playing a large role from the blue line as long as they're competing.
