The 31-year-old blueliner had 32 shots on net and a plus-4 rating in that span, but he hasn't been able to reach his usual levels on offense this season. Slavin has just four assists with 44 shots on net, 39 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 28 appearances after missing most of the first of the campaign due to a pair of injuries.

Miller scored a goal, added two PIM, went plus-3, logged three hits and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Penguins.
Miller ended a 24-game goal drought with his tally late in the third period, which forced overtime. During that stretch, he had 11 assists, 40 shots on net and a plus-3 rating. The 26-year-old blueliner is in a top-four role and offers some category coverage in fantasy. He's at five goals, 31 points, 100 shots on net, 85 hits, 66 blocked shots, 48 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 60 appearances.

Martinook scored a shorthanded goal on five shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Penguins.
Martinook has three goals over his last seven contests. The 33-year-old winger is up to 10 goals, 23 points, 102 hits, 40 blocked shots, 29 PIM and 97 shots on goal over 65 appearances this season. Martinook is a fixture on the Hurricanes' third line and penalty kill, giving him a little upside in deep fantasy formats.

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Expected to face San Jose
Lyon is set to start on the road against San Jose on Thursday, per Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.
Lyon is having a strong campaign with a 19-8-3 record, 2.62 GAA and .912 save percentage across 32 outings. Playing on the road hasn't been an issue for him either. He's 9-3-1 with a 2.54 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 15 road outings this season. The Sharks have one of the league's best forwards in Macklin Celebrini, but their overall offense is just average -- San Jose ranks 18th in goals per game with 3.11.

Miller posted an assist and two PIM in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.
Miller's helper was his first point in three games since he returned from an upper-body injury that cost him five contests. The veteran forward is up to 39 points, 116 shots on net, 106 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-26 rating through 54 outings this season. Miller should continue to see top-six minutes.

Sheary has two goals and one assist over his last five contests. He continues to occupy a bottom-six role for the Rangers, so it's unwise to expect consistent offense from the winger. He's at three goals, 12 points, 63 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 48 appearances this season.

Nedeljkovic was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Buffalo.
Nedeljkovic will make his fourth appearance in the Sharks' last five contests, having gone 2-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA in his prior three outings. With Yaroslav Askarov (lower body) banged up, the 30-year-old Nedeljkovic figures to continue seeing the bulk of the workload for the time being.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: First off ice Thursday
Kuemper was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Alexander Legget of mayorsmanor.com reports, and is slated to defend the home goal versus Philadelphia on Thursday.
Kuemper has won his last two starts, giving him a 17-13-10 record with a 2.64 GAA and an .898 save percentage. The Kings have provided solid defense in front of Kuemper of late as he has faced no more than 23 shots on goal in each of his last four games. The Flyers are generating 2.78 goals per game, 26th in the league this season.
