Lightning's Brayden Point: Twelve points in last nine games
Point put up two assists in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Entering Brodeur territory
Vasilevskiy made 24 saves Thursday in a 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
The win was his 30th this season. Vasilevskiy became the second goaltender in NHL history to record nine straight 30-win seasons. The first to do it was Martin Brodeur, who delivered 12 consecutive 30-win seasons from 1995-96 to 2007-08. Vasilevskiy has often been viewed as Brodeur's closest modern counterpart, but he has a long way to go to approach Brodeur's win totals and longevity.

Wyatt Kaiser D | CHI
Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: Status uncertain after late exit
Kaiser (upper body) left Thursday's game versus the Mammoth late in the third period, and his status for Saturday versus the Golden Knights is up in the air, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Kaiser appeared to sustain an upper-body injury. Given how late it was in the game when he left, the lack of an update comes as no surprise. If he can't play Saturday, Ethan Del Mastro will draw into the lineup.

Jake Guentzel C | TB
Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Closing in on another 30-goal year
Guentzel scored twice Thursday in a 4-1 win over Detroit.

Gage Goncalves C | TB
Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Three goals in last two games
Goncalves scored twice Thursday in a 4-1 win over Detroit. He fired five shots.
Both of his goals came in the third period. His second stood as the winner. Goncalves has three goals in two games since his return from injury. He also has six shots, five hits and three blocks in that span. Goncalves has 10 goals and 13 assists in 56 games; both are career marks.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Goals in back-to-back games
Jankowski scored the Hurricanes' only goal in a 3-1 loss to St. Louis on Thursday.
Jankowski intercepted a Blues' pass in the neutral zone, made a move around the defender in the right circle, and he then roofed a shot over Jordan Binnington's blocker as he cut to the ice. Jankowski has a goal in each of his last two games. He has seven goals, nine assists and 47 shots in 52 games this season.
-
Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Two losses in row
Bussi made 14 saves Thursday in a 3-1 loss to the Blues. He allowed two goals.
This was the first time this season that Bussi has lost consecutive starts. He lost to Calgary on Saturday. Overall, Bussi is 25-5-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .899 save percentage. He's a reliable netminder playing behind a strong defense, and he wins a lot. Bussi is going to help you in your postseason.

Jordan Binnington G | STL
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Calms Hurricanes with ease
Binnington made 31 saves in a 3-1 win over Carolina on Thursday.
Mark Jankowski was the only Carolina player to beat him. Binnington and Joel Hofer had been alternating starts until the lead-up to the trade deadline, when the Blues rolled Hofer to protect Binner from injury. He was strong Thursday, so we could be looking at return to the alternating state going forward. Since the start of March, Hofer has gotten four of the Blues' six starts (3-0-1). Binnington is 2-0-0 with just three goals allowed in the same span.

Dylan Holloway LW | STL
Blues' Dylan Holloway: Five-game, eight-point streak
Holloway had two assists Thursday in a 3-1 win over Carolina.
Holloway's point streak stands at five games and eight points (two goals, six assists). Overall, he has 13 goals, 16 assists and 104 shots in 42 games. Holloway missed 23 games to injury this season, and he has struggled to deliver when he's been on the ice. His 0.69 points-per-game this year is a big drop from the 0.81 he delivered last season, when he put up 63 points in 77 games. Holloway's current streak is a good sign. The talent is there, so he could give you a strong push to your postseason.

Jimmy Snuggerud RW | STL
Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud: Multi-point game streak at four
Snuggerud scored two goals in a 3-1 win over the Hurricanes on Thursday.
Snuggerud's second goal stood as the winner. It was his fourth straight multi-point game, and he extended his goal streak to four games (five goals, four assists). He has 16 shots on the streak. Snuggerud sits fifth on the NHL scoring list with 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists). But more impressively, he has four game-winning goals which leads the Blues this season.
