  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Flames' Ryan Strome: Two points in team debut

Strome scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Strome was acquired from the Ducks on Friday in a salary dump. The 32-year-old forward goes from being a regular scratch in Anaheim to the new third-line center for Calgary, ostensibly replacing Nazem Kadri, who was dealt to Colorado. Strome's improved playing time should help his offense, but he's in a tough team situation in Calgary. The 32-year-old has 11 points, 37 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-4 rating over 34 appearances this season and will need to be steady on offense to earn attention in fantasy.

  • Flames' Blake Coleman: Two points in Saturday's win

Coleman scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two hits and blocked three shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Coleman wasn't traded Friday, so he'll stay with the Flames as a veteran leader in a larger role to close out this campaign. The 34-year-old has three points over his last three outings. He's up to 14 goals, 10 assists, 118 shots on net, 121 hits, 34 blocked shots, 35 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 50 appearances this season. He should be able to get over the 30-point mark again, but Coleman is likely to finish on the lower end of his usual range for offense, which is typically 30-40 points.

  • Morgan Frost C | CGY

Flames' Morgan Frost: Collects three points in win

Frost scored a power-play goal on four shots and added two assists in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Frost has five points over four outings in March. He showed some growth in January with eight points in 14 games, but he didn't get on the scoresheet over four contests in February around the Olympic break. The 26-year-old center is poised to fill a larger role following the Flames' trade of Nazem Kadri to the Avalanche. Frost is up to 14 goals, 32 points (13 on the power play), 105 shots on net and a minus-15 rating over 62 appearances. He was limited to 37 points in 81 contests between Calgary and Philadelphia last year, but he's poised to get back over the 40-point mark in 2025-26.

  • Joel Farabee LW | CGY

Flames' Joel Farabee: Shines in Saturday's win

Farabee scored twice on four shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Farabee's three points all came at even strength, with his second tally being the game-winner. The 26-year-old has earned five points over six contests since the Olympic break, and he's currently in a top-six role. Farabee has 15 goals, 28 points, 110 shots on net and a minus-12 rating across 62 appearances this season, surpassing his 25-point effort from 81 games between the Flames and Flyers last year.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Fades late but maintains win

Wolf stopped 25 of 29 shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Wolf still had his hands full with a tired Hurricanes team, allowing three of the four goals in the third period. The 24-year-old netminder had lost his last two outings, giving up five goals on 53 shots in those contests. He's now up to 18-23-3 with a 3.00 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 45 appearances. Wolf should get a decent share of starts down the stretch, but the Flames' roster was depleted a bit at the trade deadline, so he'll be a risky option. Up next, the Flames begin a five-game road trip with a back-to-back, visiting the Capitals on Monday and the Rangers on Tuesday, which should be a pair of games for Wolf and Devin Cooley to split.

  • Corey Perry RW | TB

Lightning's Corey Perry: Goal in first game back

Perry scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 win over Toronto.

It was his first game back as a member of the Lightning after being acquired from Los Angeles on Friday. Perry previously played for Tampa Bay in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns. He had 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 50 games with the Kings this season. Perry's goal in Saturday's game stood as the winner. He's on the fourth line, but logged time on the second power-play unit.

  • Canucks' Jack Thompson: Three points for new AHL team

Thompson scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Abbotsford's 4-0 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Thompson has five points over two games since he was swapped to the Canucks' organization for Jett Woo on Thursday. Overall, Thompson has just 17 points over 44 appearances in the AHL this season. The 23-year-old blueliner is still young enough to make an impact, especially for a Vancouver team that is lacking in proven NHL options.

  • Maple Leafs' Nicholas Robertson: First point in eight games

Robertson scored a goal in a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.

It was Robertson's first point in eight games and first goal in nine. He has 13 goals, 14 assists and 102 shots in 60 games this season. Robertson is on pace to perhaps have a career high of 35 points, but that's certainly a long way off from 27 points across 56 regular-season games in 2023-24.

  • Ty Mueller C | VAN

Canucks' Ty Mueller: Two goals Saturday

Mueller scored twice in AHL Abbotsford's 4-0 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Mueller has 13 goals and 30 points over 50 AHL appearances this season. He may still get a look at the NHL level later in the campaign, especially if injuries pile up in Vancouver. Mueller didn't have a point in two appearances with the big club in 2024-25.

  • Ty Young G | VAN

Canucks' Ty Young: Logs first shutout of season

Young posted a 23-save shutout in AHL Abbotsford's 4-0 win over Colorado on Saturday.

This was Young's first shutout in 21 career AHL appearances. He's taken a step back this season with a 2-8-0 record, a 3.83 GAA and an .874 save percentage over 10 outings, though he hasn't worked as the starter. The 21-year-old won't be a major factor in the NHL for years, especially if his numbers don't improve.
