  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Five-game point streak

Maccelli scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 loss to the Lightning.

He opened the game with a wrist shot that beat Andrei Vasilevskiy early in the first period. It was Maccelli's third goal in as many games, and it extended his point streak to five games. He has three goals and two assists during that span. He has eight points, including five goals, in nine games since the start of February. Maccelli has been productive while skating on the top line with Auston Matthews and William Nylander.

  • Oilers' Matt Tomkins: Picks up fourth shutout

Tomkins posted a 30-save shutout in AHL Bakersfield's 2-0 win over Tucson on Saturday.

Tomkins is up to four shutouts in 32 games this season, accounting for a quarter of his wins. He's added a 16-9-6 record with a 2.80 GAA and a .913 save percentage. Those are fine numbers overall, but it hasn't been enough for the 31-year-old to get a look with the Oilers yet.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Can't recover from bad first frame

Stolarz made 28 saves in a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday. He allowed four goals.

The score was 1-1 in the first when the Lightning turned up the volume in a big way with three goals in a 2:36 span. Stolarz and the Leafs settled down afterward, but the damage had already been done. He has struggled since his return from injury. Stolarz is 1-4-2 in seven starts since Jan. 23, and he has allowed 24 goals in that span. He's a major fantasy risk for managers heading into the postseason.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Second in wins

Vasilevskiy made 27 saves in a 5-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.

Vasilevskiy snapped a personal three-game losing streak with Saturday's victory. The triumph was his 29th of the season, which is second only to Utah's Karel Vejmelka, who has 30 wins. Vasilevskiy is fourth overall in the NHL in GAA (2.28) and save percentage (.914). He has been a superb fantasy option this season.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: First points since return

Cirelli delivered two assists in a 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

He didn't have a point in three straight outings before Saturday's contest after returning from a four-game absence due to an injury. Cirelli has 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists), 97 shots and a plus-26 rating in 53 games this season. His winning percentage at the dot is 48.6 percent. Cirelli has more value on the ice than in the fantasy arena, but he does heat up offensively from time to time.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Exits Saturday's game

Sanderson sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game versus the Kraken.

Sanderson appeared to be favoring his shoulder after a hit from Brandon Montour. At this point, Sanderson can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. The defenseman is a big part of the Senators' team, so any absence would be damaging for Ottawa and his fantasy managers.

  • Flames' Zach Whitecloud: Hurt in Saturday's game

Whitecloud (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Hurricanes.

Whitecloud took an awkward fall late in the first period and was unable to return. The 29-year-old defenseman can be considered day-to-day for now. The Flames begin a five-game road trip Monday versus the Capitals, so Whitecloud's status should be updated prior to the team heading on the road.

  • Victor Eklund RW | NYI

Islanders' Victor Eklund: Gets 20th point in SHL

Eklund scored a goal in Djurgardens' 4-1 win over Lulea in the SHL on Saturday.

Eklund has 20 points in 40 games as a 19-year-old in the SHL this season. While it's no surprise his offense has dipped a bit compared to last year in the second-tier HockeyAllsvenskan (31 points in 42 outings), Eklund has still proven himself pretty well. He's under contract with the Islanders, and Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reported Friday that the young winger will come to North America in 2026-27.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Three-game, four-point streak

Point scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 win over Toronto.

The game was his 700th regular-season contest in the NHL. Point is on a three-game, four-point scoring streak (one goal, three assists; four shots). He has nine points, including four goals, in six games since the Olympic break.

  • Kraken's Logan Morrison: Posts three points in AHL win

Morrison scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-2 win over Calgary on Saturday.

Morrison had gone five games without a point prior to Saturday. He had mostly avoided cold stretches this season, and he's at 25 goals and 27 helpers through 54 appearances in his third year with the Firebirds. Morrison is not yet ready for a full-time NHL gig, but he's taken a noticeable step up in the AHL in 2025-26.
